很有趣的战旗游戏,各种底层机制上感觉在xcom的基础上做出了非常有潜力的创新,可惜内容量不算多,后期在各种遭遇战上也有些重复,但还是值得一玩的。
I tried SO HARD to like this game, but it is simply not good. It is trying to build a castle to be like XCOM, but skips the foundation because it doesn't want to be like XCOM. It has some *great* ideas. Truly. Vehicles ? Multiples teams ? Multiple bases ? Faction interactions ? Targetable parts ? This is all great ! But see, there's one issue, and it's my main problem with this game. Everything in XCOM felt good because it was discrete. You looked at an ennemy, you knew exactly how many HP it has, what it does, and how many hits ( take or leave 1-2 ) it would need to be killed. You would do a research, and it would unlock something meaningful. You would start the game, and it looked like a fresh start. This is the opposite of that. The HP and WP of both ennemies and allies are hidden. Multiple ennemies share the same models, so you *will* think someone's a close range specialist when they have a shotgun, and vice versa. You start the game with sooooo much ♥♥♥♥ that doesn't change anything. And so many guns and ammo that you can't produce. The research is loaded with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 8h research that give you nothing but a sliver of resources. The game, in general, feels so bad. Sorry, but it just aint it.

The game is a mixed bag. Some things it does great, I like the combat more than in X-Com, and the economical system is not bad. On the other hand the balance is all over the place, and the game gets quite grindy. A more polished and thought through second part would beat X-Com for me. In it's current state I'd say it's for the most parts worse than X-Com but still a good game. It even kept me interested enough to finish it.
Great squad based strategy game based on action points. Cool story and great graphics. Little hard to figure out all the controls when moving between levels sometimes.
The game is finally worth playing. Would recommend the "Terror from the deep" mode for the best experience
Poor controller support even after 5 years of the release.
The mood in the game is great. Overall with the latest patches and Terror from the Void mod then the game is ok the terms of stability. The game is fun for a couple of campaigns. The things that makes the game not fun and make it no last is the almost complete lack of weapons and armor tiers. At the start you feel there are lots to research and to find wih the factions but after the first playthrough you realize that many weapons and armor are barely upgrades. The thing that I disliked about the TFTV mod is the thing that made base game fun and that is the broken skill combinations of the classes. The mod rebalances this but also makes them less fun in process. I want to like this game but in the end turned out mostly dissapointing. Could you give a neutral rating i would but alas it has to be negative.
It's not as good as Xcom2, but it's hard to put a finger on exactly why that is.
I love the game, and followed the development plan and was even a backer, i ended the game more than once ... BUT ... currently there are gamebreaking bugs where your soldiers won't regen HP or AP over time ... several fully built bases, multiple ships with full squads, and yet ... at any given point this bug will just creep in and screw your game permanently...
