Je cherchais un jeux qui fonctionne comme Xcom. J'ai pas été déçus. très bon jeux.
At first Phoenix Point feels like the huge modern evolution of XCOM. For a while I was impressed: free aiming, globe management, factions, diplomacy, mutations, layered strategy systems. It looks like the kind of ambitious tactical game that barely exists anymore. Then eventually the illusion collapses and you realize the actual game is mostly busywork. Move aircraft.Transfer soldiers.Defend another haven.Manage another base.Do another scavenging mission.Respond to another emergency across the planet.Repeat endlessly. The game mistakes administrative overload for strategic depth. Having a hundred things to constantly micromanage does not make a game deep. It just makes it exhausting. And eventually the scale becomes ridiculous. You end up with countless soldiers spread across the globe, multiple aircraft, multiple bases, constant alerts, constant transfers, constant equipment management. At some point I stopped feeling like a commander fighting aliens and started feeling like I was manually operating a global HR and logistics department. Equipping and managing huge numbers of soldiers is not fun tactical gameplay. It is not meaningful decision making. It is just maintenance work disguised as complexity. The progression structure also feels awkward. The game gives you freedom to choose missions and objectives, but in reality constant grinding feels mandatory because progressing too fast can suddenly get your squads destroyed. Instead of creating a satisfying strategic flow, the campaign feels slow, bloated, and strangely directionless. Even mechanics that should be interesting, like research and alien capture, feel clunky and unnaturally complicated. XCOM also had alien capture, but there it felt integrated into the flow of the game. In Phoenix Point, many systems feel like they exist mainly to create additional layers of management and friction. The saddest part is that the tactical combat underneath all this is actually good. There is clearly a great game buried in here somewhere. But it is trapped under layers of tedious management systems that completely kill the pacing and enjoyment. I love difficult tactical games. I do not love doing unpaid office work disguised as strategy gameplay.

Crab X-com
I got 450h+ on Epic, now i got it on Steam as well. Better than x-com2.
Feels like XCom3. Having spent over 400 hours on Xcom2 this is fantastic. Love some of the differences to mechanisms like overwatch. Also feels like its taken some inspiration from FrostPunk for its map exploration.
good game
