Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A reworked campaign – New maps, new quests, and new combat scenarios along with fully rebalanced factions ensure you face varied squads with different equipment, armour and unit configurations. You have even more reason to collect new equipment and experiment with different loadouts to take on these new threats.

Phantom Brigade is a cinematic, tactical mech strategy game with an innovative timeline-based command system. See the future, predict enemy actions, and plot your counterattack on the timeline! Recruit and level up your squad of rebels to retake war-torn Fyrland from the Kaskad occupation.
Cinematic spin on the turn-based genre – Predict enemy movements, orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures, and hit “execute” to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time.
Extensive customization – Featuring a rich customization system, Phantom Brigade enables you to fine-tune the performance of your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment, and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Prepare your squad for any challenge - in style.
An expansive arsenal – Railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords, and more! Rain destruction down upon your homeland’s invaders with weaponry salvaged from each enemy mech you defeat.
Strategic tactical combat – Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your mobile base, and decide how to apply your limited resources. Take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and challenging outpost onslaughts.
Destructible environments – It's not a proper game about giant mechs without destructible buildings! Phantom Brigade allows every square meter of each battle map to be destroyed. Shatter your enemy’s cover and collapse buildings on top of them!

让我非常惊喜的策略回合制游戏!加入近战武器是正确的!希望能在战局结束后增加一个全局回放的功能。
Overall great game, wished there was more. This game made me hate the typical Turn-based mechanic where luck can play a huge part in the outcome of each turn, no matter how good your strategy is. In this game however, your strategy dictates the outcome. I like the customizations you are able to do with each mechs and pilots. You can mix and match parts and whatever you decided to put on your mech defines its role. While you can build a mech into a specialized role, you are free to diversify. Pilot skills add another flavor to the gameplay of the mech making gameplay quite different for each mech. The Campaign is okay. It's as linear as it can get. Go point to point, clear hostiles, get better gear, defeat boss at the end and repeat. The gameplay loop is good, would love to have variations on it though. Like for boss encounters, while they have different builds and armaments, the way you defeat them stay the same. This might be okay for the endless mode but for the campaign i was expecting more variations like that one boss with the 3 towers towards the end. Mission Variation also lacking. Different map but same gameplay. (i.e. would like to have a defend mission on a city like the ones we have on a patrol encounter.) I never felt like adjusting my gameplay because i needed to but only because i wanted to. The Briefing section - It would be nice if I was able to use it to setup where i want my Mechs deployed. Workshop Wishful concept - While modules are great to modify weapons, I would like to have a deeper weapon customization. Maybe we can have a base mold like a sniper rifle with a set range and base stats but then we can tweak what kind of ammo is used (Concussive, Burn etc.), how many bullets per shot, maybe a slider of how much heat it generates, more heat = more damage. Something like this that can be done in the workshop once a weapon is reverse engineered. The same thing goes for the other mech parts and mech body. Will the base mech body prioritize heat dissipation or heat threshold, better power distribution for speed or thrusters, better barrier regeneration or harder plating. For mech parts, the more modules you install the heavier it gets.

I played the game 2 years before writing this review and I loved it then. After the 2.0 update had dropped, I just knew I needed to come back to it. And lo-and-behold, its still as beautiful and as satisfying as last time. The combat system is streamlined, the graphics are great, the setting is fantastic. Mech and Pilot customization is also very much welcome. Story wise, not really much to comment on, it has been a while so I'm a bit rusty in that department. If you like Turn-Based RTS games, and mechs, then this is definitely a game to consider. I very much think of this game as a hidden gem that needs a spotlight on it.
能一直更新的游戏就是好游戏
Some unique gameplay with the 5 second look ahead. I like how battles unfold. And there is enough variation in units and objectives to keep it interesting through most of it anyway. Fun - well worth the time and money. Get it
Short review: If you want a game with in-depth resource management, and the added ability to give a seldom-matched feeling of control of a virtual battlefield, hard to top this. I understand it had a shaky start but I came in on 2.0. If it did stumble out the gate, it's sure found it sea legs now! If you dig giant robots and tactics games, grab it! Longer, more "pretentious" review: The game has a lot of the minutiae of HareBrained's BattleTech, which I wanted to enjoy far more than I finally did. Where it does better than BattleTech is a more up-to-date suite of tools through the production process I would guess, as the game runs far more smoothly. Also, if you, like me, were on the outside of BattleTech/MechWarrior looking in, pounced on BattleTech as your gateway, and found yourself still a bit overwhelmed by jumping headfirst into a 30+ year old franchise and its exhaustive lore, this game will deliver the same heavy hardware punch, without the baggage of feeling you missed a dozen important event, like you're starting to read the Dune Chronicles at Book 4. Also I swear I am not dunking on BattleTech, I liked that game a lot, and I like it's setting a lot. That said, some people may also have been put off by it's post-post-post future setting where all the cool stuff you have is 400 years past warranty and held together with baling wire and wishes. The mech design here takes more notes from the SquareEnix Front Mission franchise, with a little bit more Gundam flair - still lived in, but there's clearly a difference between these machines fresh off the assembly line and a game where the mechs are treated like a knight's horse because they are about as rare and expensive to maintain. And the odd predictive timeline game style (seen in few other games, like Frozen Synapse and it's spinoffs) takes getting used to, but play with it awhile, learn to slide your mouse around, see what you can do with it, and you'll be impressed with how much control it really gives you! If you want to feel like you're in the masterclass of desktop generals, and have classy stompyboi mecha in your army, get this!
Picked this up bc it was cheap and I like mechs. This game is actually so nice, the UI is crisp, the visuals are nice, the gameplay is very fun, would 100% recommend. It's like Battletech x RTS x a lil bit of Risk
