An easy game to pick up and satisfying to master. If it's novel spin on the action puzzler genre isn't enough to sell it, the GBC-style presentation featuring crisp, autumnal graphics and delightful 8-bit music makes it irresistible. The fact that there is now also an online mode is very cool and the puzzle modes are infectious, too.
Not a huge puzzle game person but this one is unique and a generally pretty chill time
simple. cute. fun. love it!
A FANTASTIC puzzle game! You maybe wouldn't think that a sliding block vs game would be a TON of fun, but you would be wrong! Petal Crash is an absolute blast and ABSOLUTELY worth your time if you're looking for something like this to sink your teeth into! +WONDERFUL gameboy color inspired visuals! Along with wonderful music to boot! +All characters are fun, cute, and unique. There's even a centaur which I find to be a depressingly underused species in video games +Controls are really customizable and when you find what works for you, you'll just be Petal Crashing like there's no tomorrow! -It REALLY feels like every character should have a unique special ability they can use to interfere with the opponent
Oh, I never wrote a review of this. Oops! ... Um... Petal Crash
the fairy hurt me in ways I can't describe. I will never be the same.
This has been one of the most refreshing puzzle games I've played in some time! This could easily stand with the big boy puzzlers like Tetris and Puyo Puyo! I also highly recommend a Dpad controller for maximum enjoyment as this game really doesn't have the craziest button layout but the snappy gameplay really benefits from having a nice and responsive retro controller.
A prime example for a 1v1 puzzle game of old like Tetris or Dr Mario. And with GB pixel art. Really fun and addicting
This game is super fun! I really like the mechanic and the puzzle element feels challenging while the head-to-head style adds urgency. The many options for input / controller mean that the game should be more accessible for people with limited mobility. I was surprised by how engaging the story was, and each of the characters felt unique. The music transported me back to old gameboy games. Such a polished piece of work! I grabbed it on sale but it is well worth the full price because there are so many game options and styles.
its not a sploosh or a spash, nor a bang or a bash, with these petals, its all CRASH!
