Hack and slash variant of the best JRPG

(For full disclosure, I got this free from a friend who got it from humble bundle) This game has been out for 5 years, and there's still major issues with getting it to run without constant crashes. I've been trying to deal with it for hours, but I've just got to uninstall it now. The most aggravating part of the crashes is that they so often seem to happen after major story events and boss fights... You know, the main reason most people would play a JRPG; and that means, in order to test if one of the hotfixes work, you have to do the boss fight all over again and just... hope. It's insane to me that not only has there not been an actual fix for these crashes over the course of years, but that they still charge $60 to $70 for a chance at getting the game to maybe work. This should absolutely stand out as a black mark against ATLUS' reputation until this gets fixed, which I sincerely hope it does.

啥子游戏用一百万个加速器都带不动，打p3r开最高画质的电脑打这个把帧率调最低都卡，卡就算了还闪退，闪退完还不会自动保存进度，纯纯为了看怪盗团日常硬吃这坨屎

The combat is not as good as other games from KOEI TECMO but still is a great game if you want more adventures with the phantom thieves . Honestly , the "friendshipness" in this game kinda makes up for the fumble in the end of royal . If only they added [strike] Sumire [/strike] Kasumi

Great sequal i like the new combat and the soundtracks are even better! The scramble soundtracks are so good. Its not for the average JRPG player id say it plays a bit like a god of war title in some ways. If thats not your cup of tea then i dont reccomend it. The story is also great it has some really good palace rulers and the addition of jails. The plot twist in the end is also really good. Overall this sequal was just nice i liked it even if others didnt. This game has style, flashy combat, the awesome phantom thieves, a great soundtrack and a great story.
