This game has very creative mechanics. Looking at the silky smooth movement, you can guess the developer's outstanding talent. That's why I'm looking forward to the next game. Thank you for making a great game! good luck.
Banger gameplay, banger soundtrack, and the menus and buttons are so nice they remind me of stardew valley! My mission will be winning with full spawny bois build...I believe in the power of friendship <3
Really brilliant, smooth and fun. My favourite run was a 4 bomber build + invincible dash, which would one shot waves when maxed out. The upgrade and progression system remind me of TFT with the shop and level up systems, and work really well to make a customisable but different every time roguelike. One suggestion for a future update would be an endless mode, with infinitely scaling enemy numbers and going through the bosses again but with greater health, aswell as slowly unlocking more upgrade slots (or even allowing upgrades to go to level 4 or 5 with scaling costs). This would make the game a 10/10. I greatly recommend playing with controller.
The buttons are so satisfying to click! 10/10, would buy again

Jokes aside, I really enjoy playing PERMUTER; For me, it's a game I can play for a while in between things, thanks to the game concept (and, to an extent, my personal lack of skill). The music suits the visuals very well (Kubbi is a great choice), and there is a good amount of, as the store description states, "game-changing weapons". You have a limited amount of upgrade slots, can upgrade them to become more powerful, and unlock synergies between them. On top of that, you only have a limited play area, which increases the effectiveness of AoE weapons, and get enemies and bosses that shoot back, too. All in all, I like the concept and implementation of the game, and while I'm definitely not particularly good at the game, I can only recommend getting it. If there's anything I can complain about, there have been occasional issues with keyboard and mouse input, but I'm not sure if that might be caused by my setup or the fact I've been playing this via Proton. I haven't experienced any problems when playing with a controller, though. Oh, and did I mention the buttons are incredibly satisfying to click? Because they are. clickety click click click

Full disclosure: The developer is an online acquaintance of mine, and I got to play an early test version of the game for free. That was still a ways away from the final product, but I still feel like I should mention it.
Short fun game, but lacks content and feels like it was never "truly" completed. Title screen version being 0.5.3 supports my theory. Does have an end fight in place and several difficulties, but playing on hardest (one hit kills me) I managed to complete the game in hour and a half. Regular difficulty, I could see someone beating it first try. Not terribly priced, but don't expect many hours out of it. SNKRX is a better similar game and costs less, while having more content.
[Disclaimer in the interest of fairness: I am an acquaintance of the developer] Quite a fun game! Gameplay is simple, reminiscent of various bullet heaven games, with the added power progression/item synergy found in autobattlers like Teamfight Tactics. It's simple, immediately understandable, and has a quick session length which is perfect for those times where you only have 20 minutes until you have to engage with commitments. As an added bonus, it's the price of a coffee, so what's to lose? I've managed a successful run on normal difficulty and will now be gunning for a Hardcore clear, but for new players I highly recommend going all-in on a Bomber build!!
Highly satisfying to play (and push menus buttons eheh), nice music, nice upgrades paths (some preferences for a certain set of items over others but I guess it depends on your gameplay) Works great on my Steam Deck, very smooth 90 fps, and controllers really help for moving the tiny ship. Overall a very nice short game !!
Incredible game with a simple but fast-paced gameplay. PERMUTER really nails down what makes a bullet-hell game great, and does so in a unique way. There is a number of great builds even at this point of game's development and I am looking forward what gets added next. Final Score: "Screw the Super Hardcore gate edges" / 10
Super simple graphically and that showcases fun gameplay. It feels a bit constrained but at the same time is due to balancing game's features. Getting build is not that hard but is completed in last levels. Shop requires a lot of reroll to get needed upgrades. 10/10 music 7/10 visual effects - in later stages visuals are all over the place and makes it hard to position yourself.
Really fun and addicting
