About
An intense, arcade-style, shooter in which you must master a vast array of ridiculous weaponry in order to defeat a race of evil aliens who are intent on abducting innocent civilians and turning them into mutants. Jetboard Joust blends the spirit and intensity of 1980s arcade coin-op SMHUPs with the replayability and tactical elements of hardcore modern roguelikes. Don't expect a story. Do expect frantic, fluid, fast-paced 60fps action, big guns, and explosions!
The Jetboard: Leap from your jetboard like a boss to gain temporary invincibility and smash your enemies to smithereens. Destroy pretty much everything in your path. You rock.
The Enemies: Over fifty different enemies to outwit. Be prepared for them to come at you with all the game's weapons plus their own special attacks. Watch out for a few tributes to classic arcade games of the past too...
The Weapons: From the conventional to the ridiculous! Jetboard Joust offers over thirty powerful weapons, each with its own distinct advantages and upgrade path, to aid you on your mission and leave a path of total destruction in your wake. Get up close and dish out massive damage with the shotgun, wreak havoc with the cluster bomb, fry enemies to a crisp with the flame tornado or shock them into submission with the lightning bolt. You'll get a different selection of weapons with each playthrough and you'll need to master them all!
The Bosses: Defeat huge bosses in a series of grueling multi-stage battles and then steal their attacks for your own use. Rendered in exquisite pixel-art detail, these guys will test your weapon-handling and evasive maneuvering to their limits.
The Planets: Choose your own path through a multitude of battlegrounds across the surface of five different planets. Discover hidden treasure, upgrades and awesome new weapons. Adapt your route based on your playstyle, the weapons you unlock and the treasure you discover. Plunder cash from fallen enemies and use it to pimp up your jetboard, jetsuit and max out your weapons for a formidable arsenal. Are you up to the challenge?

It's a good take on Defender with a lot of stuff thrown in for good measure. If you are a fan of an arcade + roguelite smash up shooter... get this one during one of its frequent sales. Can't go wrong at that price.
Atari like shooter with chaotic gameplay. Plays a bit like Defender where you protect citizens from being abducted by space alien mutants. Whenever you go in either direction level loop itself. After defeating all enemies you go to altar and start boss battle. Each level is a bit different and there's plenty of bosses so you wonder what will come next. After winning claim your price below the altar and warp to next stage. Between the levels you can upgrade your character, jet board or one of weapons or sell it. Simplistic approach, good to take a breather between some bigger games. Visually looks retro like however enemies not always differentiate itself from main character so it might be hard to spot your player when things get bananas. Small game with a bit of fun and progression system. Final rating 3/5.
Very fun modern day joust like game. Nice retro-y graphics and the sounds are pretty pleasing to the ears. Works FANTASTIC on the steam deck. 7/10

Jetboard Joust pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on //good amount of action and special effects cons: //a lot of difficult battles/boss battles //some enemies are overpowered //upgrades cost a lot of resources //weapons loot rng system are mostly bad //some weapons are better than others //unobtainable health/ammo that drop through the ground //losing is a grindfest //good game Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $0.49 Or Less During Sale
first off this plays more like defender than joust. the "joust" comes from an attack where you jump off your sled and it hits enemies (that's no jousting btw but starfox also isn't doing a barrel roll). over all it's a good upgrade to defender with new weapons, branching levels, new enemies, a shop, and bosses. sadly the controls are a bit floaty and levels tend to feel samey even when it has different enemies. fights are also samey once you know how the ai acts and "difficulty" is added only by giving enemies more hp and/or a faster attack speed making some fight really cheap. i don't like how you can miss bonuses by flying into the next levels portal as there's no confirmation. then if you spend to much money on upgrades (or just don't have enough cash) you can end up to poor to continue so you lose all progress into the level. do you buy upgrades so you hopefully die less or do you save cash for when you do die? the perma death if you don't have the cash is where i was done with this game. i'm not doing the "gitgud" because the dev only made 5 levels and wants 300hours of play time crap because dying to a spam bot is not "difficulty". it's a good game and if you like hardcore retro games this is your cake but for the rest of us you are most likely better off playing something else.

Grafikleri , özellikle ses efektleriyle müthiş bir retro shot'em up yapım.
The game is fun and indicated to child
