Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A phone call from a small, out of state police force was the last thing writer Penelope Pendrick was expecting that morning. But, it wasn't long after that she was boarding a flight to the quaint old town of Carlisle, Connecticut. When debriefed, Penelope learns her job is to join the search for three missing people; an older man who owns a local bookstore, a mysterious woman who keeps to herself, and a troublemaking teenage boy – the only common link between them being that they disappeared from the same town, within the same week. The Sergeant is stumped.
Once she begins to unravel the case, Penelope realizes that there’s something deeper – stranger – going on here. Unusual ties form between four deceptive suspects, each with something to gain and each with something to lose. Motives and suspicions weave in and out as Penelope uses her wits and penchant for rule-breaking to search for answers; some of which died with an eccentric and mysterious local artist fifty years ago. As the danger escalates, a timer begins to tick down on the lives of the missing. All that Penelope knows for sure is that there’s more to the town of Carlisle than it would appear, and that one wrong move could make this first case her last.

This game is very good, almost great in my opinion. I am an avid fan of the Nancy Drew pc games, and Penelope Pendrick (AoD) feels like what the later ND games should have been in terms of modernization. This game was made by a fan of the original ND PC game series and the influence those games had on the creator is on full display in AoD. To be clear, I don't think you can rightly say this game is clone or copying the ND series, rather this seems like a love letter to those old nostalgic ND games with a lot of modernization. Penelope Pendrick is certainly her own character and her origin is not nancy-esque. It is obvious AoD was not a slapdash effort, a lot of time and skill went into making this game. The plot is a little goofy but overall enjoyable and interesting, personally I enjoy a bit of goofiness in my game plots. The puzzles range from easy to pretty difficult but there is no "moon logic" required to solve any of them. My only complaints are there is no sort of hint system (which would be nice when you get very stuck) and no ability to take in-game notes (which I feel many other modern point and click/mystery style games have, though there are notes created for you). Overall, I found this game very enjoyable and I am looking forward to the next game in the series.
Welcome back Nancy Drew. I adored Penelope, and this mystery. There's no way you could keep me from purchasing the next one and fingers crossed there's even more after. Huge congratulations to Julia Holdnack!!

Delightful! Like the old Nancy Drew games, but with more sophisticated puzzles and storyline. I really enjoyed the complex characters, many interesting turns, the ability to choose your conversation route and impact the storyline. The puzzles are all relevant to the story and appropriately challenging. The one challenge is that there aren't hints for the puzzles, but they were so well done that I was willing to spend quite a bit of time to try to figure them out with pen and paper in hand. Strongly recommend. Really good value for the total gameplay and the depth of the storyline and total game play with high-value interactions throughout
Out of all the games that emerged from the fall of HERInteractive, this one scratched the Nancy Drew itch the most. If you've been desperately missing those games, this one is for you!
Deeply nostalgic to those of us who grew up playing Her Interactive games. Wow I got a little emotional seeing how many incredible women contributed to this project!!! Absolutely CANNOT wait for the next one!
Good game. Voice acting was good. Story was interesting. Graphics were decent. The puzzles were good but sometimes knowing what to do next didn't make a ton of sense. Still I enjoyed the game and would buy more in the series.
This was an amazing game - felt like the good ol' days, playing Nancy Drew. Great story, good puzzles, great graphics... just so good! Can't wait for the next one.
This mystery point and click game is a work of absolute art. It's a fascinating story that takes you all over Carlisle, CT. There is a wide variety of puzzles, some that were quite challenging and satisfying to figure out. Everything about this game was quite lovely. It has quickly become my favourite game. I HIGHLY recommend this game to everyone, especially mystery and puzzle lovers.
