Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A phone call from a small, out of state police force was the last thing writer Penelope Pendrick was expecting that morning. But, it wasn't long after that she was boarding a flight to the quaint old town of Carlisle, Connecticut. When debriefed, Penelope learns her job is to join the search for three missing people; an older man who owns a local bookstore, a mysterious woman who keeps to herself, and a troublemaking teenage boy – the only common link between them being that they disappeared from the same town, within the same week. The Sergeant is stumped.
Once she begins to unravel the case, Penelope realizes that there’s something deeper – stranger – going on here. Unusual ties form between four deceptive suspects, each with something to gain and each with something to lose. Motives and suspicions weave in and out as Penelope uses her wits and penchant for rule-breaking to search for answers; some of which died with an eccentric and mysterious local artist fifty years ago. As the danger escalates, a timer begins to tick down on the lives of the missing. All that Penelope knows for sure is that there’s more to the town of Carlisle than it would appear, and that one wrong move could make this first case her last.

If you're a lover of Nancy Drew you will like this game :)
This game was great!!!
Absolutely LOVE this. As a long long LONGTIME Nancy Drew fan, I latched onto this the moment I saw it. I genuinely hope the team will continue making these, they're filling a large gap the ND games left. Congrats to everyone involved on a STELLAR game, I'll be keeping an eye out for future releases.

The writing of this game is incredible and is like reading a very well written and thought out book. You can tell the dedication Julia had when putting this game together and how much work and thought was put in. Gameplay is fun and very similar to the Nancy Drew games, which brought great nostalgia. I can't wait to see what the future holds with Default Cube.
For me this would fit into a top 5 Nancy drew game. It is so well done, challenging but not stupidly impossible, and keeps you engaged. Love it!
Loved the more adult take on the point and click detective games. Very fun puzzles and interesting story. Would highly recommend if you have played similar games and know how these types the typical gameplay loop.
As a lifelong fan of this genre of games, playing this title was SUCH a treat! I was impressed by how much the storyline and characters drew me in, it is clear that a lot of care and attention went into all of the little details! I am SO excited to play more when Tomb of Glass comes out!
I've always loved playing Nancy Drew games growing up, and this game scratched that itch!
We had a lot of fun solving the mystery with Penelope. Very original Nancy Drew vibe, so if you like ND, you’ll like PP!
This mystery point and click game is a work of absolute art. It's a fascinating story that takes you all over Carlisle, CT. There is a wide variety of puzzles, some that were quite challenging and satisfying to figure out. Everything about this game was quite lovely. It has quickly become my favourite game. I HIGHLY recommend this game to everyone, especially mystery and puzzle lovers.
