About

A phone call from a small, out of state police force was the last thing writer Penelope Pendrick was expecting that morning. But, it wasn't long after that she was boarding a flight to the quaint old town of Carlisle, Connecticut. When debriefed, Penelope learns her job is to join the search for three missing people; an older man who owns a local bookstore, a mysterious woman who keeps to herself, and a troublemaking teenage boy – the only common link between them being that they disappeared from the same town, within the same week. The Sergeant is stumped.
Once she begins to unravel the case, Penelope realizes that there’s something deeper – stranger – going on here. Unusual ties form between four deceptive suspects, each with something to gain and each with something to lose. Motives and suspicions weave in and out as Penelope uses her wits and penchant for rule-breaking to search for answers; some of which died with an eccentric and mysterious local artist fifty years ago. As the danger escalates, a timer begins to tick down on the lives of the missing. All that Penelope knows for sure is that there’s more to the town of Carlisle than it would appear, and that one wrong move could make this first case her last.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. This game is absolutely brilliant. The mystery is unpredictable yet fully understandable. The characters feel deeply personal and it's easy to empathize with them. The creator of this game needs to keep creating, Penelope Pendrick is a one stop bullet train to success.
My daughter and I loved this game. Very similar to the classic Nancy Drewm series. great puzzles and story too. Keep up the great work. looking forward to the next installment.
Fantastic game! Reminds me of Nancy Drew games I would play as a kid. I can't wait for the next game to release, I will be buying it immediately! Keep up the fantastic work!
It's hard to describe just how much joy playing this game gave me! The perfect blend of an atmospheric setting, kooky characters, challenging puzzles, rising suspense, and twists and turns to keep you engaged. I absolutely loved it and was SO impressed! I can't wait to see what Default Cube Games comes out with next, because I will definitely be playing it.
As a lifelong fan of this genre of games, playing this title was SUCH a treat! I was impressed by how much the storyline and characters drew me in, it is clear that a lot of care and attention went into all of the little details! I am SO excited to play more when Tomb of Glass comes out!
amazing game!! would recommend to anyone who is a fan of the nancy drew games!! looking forward to playing the next one!
Loved the more adult take on the point and click detective games. Very fun puzzles and interesting story. Would highly recommend if you have played similar games and know how these types the typical gameplay loop.
We had a lot of fun solving the mystery with Penelope. Very original Nancy Drew vibe, so if you like ND, you’ll like PP!
Out of all the games that emerged from the fall of HERInteractive, this one scratched the Nancy Drew itch the most. If you've been desperately missing those games, this one is for you!
Delightful! Like the old Nancy Drew games, but with more sophisticated puzzles and storyline. I really enjoyed the complex characters, many interesting turns, the ability to choose your conversation route and impact the storyline. The puzzles are all relevant to the story and appropriately challenging. The one challenge is that there aren't hints for the puzzles, but they were so well done that I was willing to spend quite a bit of time to try to figure them out with pen and paper in hand. Strongly recommend. Really good value for the total gameplay and the depth of the storyline and total game play with high-value interactions throughout
