Imagine stanley parable, but 20 minutes long and looks like it's from 1995. Pros: I love the graphics, has multiple endings (about 5 endings), what you do affects your rank in the end (slacking off by taking LSD, going to the bathroom without washing your hands, and snooping around, lowers your rank). Cons: No randomly generated tasks so when you beat the game you're just playing it again to get a different ending and achievements, the game is a little too short but the price justifies it. Overall, I recommend it. Very good game indeed 8/10

A cool little quirky Windows 95 inspired first person game in which you work in an office complex completing every day tasks. Easy to 100% the achievements and I enjoyed playing it which is all the matters. :)

Payroll is basically poor man's Stanley Parable with a Windows 95 graphics touch! Several endings! A lot to do! Walk around and ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up! Okay maybe not that much, but it's still a decent game. It's quite short but I do recommend it!

This game can be compared with The Stanley Parable. Walk around and do what is asked of you... or don't. As to the gameplay, Payroll is most definitely inferior. Less options, less of a game overall to play. Graphically while The Stanley Parable is more impressive, Payroll has a fun style that I haven't seen in a while. As to the achievements, Payroll wins without a doubt. There aren't any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ achievements, like "Play 24h on a Tuesday" and "Have an erection during the baby minigame". Getting the achievements in Payroll made the game way more fun and it also made my try and figure out what I can even do in the game. Plus, it's way cheaper than The Stanley Parable.

Short fun game. I like the scoring at the end and the easter eggs which made me want to search the entire building.

For the price, this is great. The build is solid, the music is catchy and fitting for the environment you're in. The art style and graphics is very nostalgic in my opinion, since the aim was to look like a game from the 95/98 era, the devs totally nailed it. Multiple endings are a nice touch, I finished them all in not too much time, however, it still added onto the replay value. Even though there is no dialoge throughout the entire game, I still understood everything I needed to do just by checking the monitor in the office cubicle or just looking at stuff for a minute. Final thoughts: If you enjoy relaxing simple games that are short and simple, it's a smart purchase; even if not, you might still like it.

Can be completed in 2-3 hours, but its worth it. Such a good leisure and charming game.
