Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 691/day in the week to Jul 17 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I can get behind the grind, I can even deal with the rushed release and state of the game. But the corporate greed killed the player base, and a game that needs an active and populated server for it to function, with no people, is not a game.
I see a lot of people making false statements in their reviews about Pax Dei. They say that you have to subscribe in order to keep the game. False. They say that you have to subscribe to keep your building plot. False. Those are the two big lies told in several of the reviews I have seen. Here is the truth. You can purchase the game outright and play it for as long is you want without ever subscribing to a monthly charge. You receive one plot token to build with when you purchase the game. That token for the plot is good for one month. You can then convert that plot to what they call a grace plot. Grace is an in game currency that you can use for travel, buffs, and wait for it... to make a monthly payment for the building plot that you have converted from token to grace. Grace can be purchased daily and is also given to each person who logs in everyday. 10 grace if you are unsubscribed and 15 if you are subscribed. So for an unsubscribed player you get 300 a month simply for logging in. You can then add to this by purchasing grace with in game gold that you have farmed off of npc's that you have killed. like 90 gold for 15 grace that you can do daily so thats another 450 grace. See how you can cover that 400 grace for your converted grace plot? Wa la! The game can be played infinitum without a subscription and you still can have a plot to build on. With that cleared up . Let's move on to the Pro's and Con's of Pax Dei. Pros Landscape is the most visually stunning I have ever seen in a game. The Vista's in this game will continue to wow you even after you have thousands of hours played. The crafting system is complex and big. You say you want a sandbox? This crafting system will sandbox the hell out of you. It teaches patience and teamwork. The building system is probably the best I have ever seen in a game. You can really get creative with it and build some very unique and beautiful buildings with it. A great pass time in the game is just to travel around and look at what people have created. You pick up building ideas and see some really great builds this way. The people. This gaming community is one of the most welcoming I have played in. The redeeming que system. This system in the game is in place for players that go dormant for whatever reason. It is there so that if your plot doesn't renew everything you painstakingly gathered, mined, baked etc to create your build is not lost. It all goes into this redeeming que. It includes everything in your plot circumference. Contents of all containers and even the containers themselves. EVERYTHING. All these items can be retrieved by you at the Petra Stone in the zone that your plot was in. Pax Dei discord where the Development Team actively takes feedback on how to improve the game. Cons, and look it's early in development. There will be a lot of cons. Slow movement in developing the game. Mainframe had to tighten its belt and went mean and lean. Each developer was asked to do more and they are working hard at it. Game was released while not ready for prime time. It had many bugs which do still occur much less frequently than they did in the past but do still occur. A video memory leak was present but seems to have been worked on recently . PVE content is lacking what a reasonable person would expect from an MMO. The classes of enemies are probably only three or four catagories and do not have much diversity. For a very long time the aggro system in the game was abhorent. Chain aggro was occuring and dungeon and overland POI pulls could turn into an absolute jailbreak. It has gotten better but still needs a little more work. PVP death penalty is over the top. Generally if you cannot get right back to your body you lose all your gear and everything in your inventory. PVP concept needs work. Along with player builds because the ability system is so basic and tied to what you wear as opposed to what you have learned or what the size of health mana and stamina is. No viable ranged dps. Tanks have to not only deal with the mobs but also several of their own group members in the way of what they are doing. Often times a tank gets blocked in and cannot move. The UI needs more work. Enough said. So why should you play Pax Dei with all these cons? The answer for me is simple. I just can't go back to playing a cartoon land game. The landscape and vista's and magnificent structures that people build keep me coming back. This game has a ton of potential but the developers need to step up their game and introduce new content quicker. This is the only review I have written on any of the games I have played. I couldn't stand by and have other reviews misrepresent the information about whether you have to subscribe to play the game. You dont. I have never wanted to see a game succeed like I want this one to. The start of what they are doing is that appealing to me. Thanks for reading this far. Have a great day.

Stand: Juni 2026 Nach 1500 Std. 1. 1. 2. 4.
As an early alpha this game had a lot of potential. As a mature release it's awful. No real content, incredibly grindy compared to other grindy games. Visually nice but that's not enough to carry the game, there's no real content and the mob pathing and intelligence is incredibly basic. This game is a nice white board idea that never executed properly into a mature game.
1) Bought in as a supporter 2) Wasted my money 3) Amazing building now have to pay to play as a solo adventurer 4) Sub service ruined an amazing game 5) Thanks for stealing my money on false promises and lies
HOW crazy that you buy the game but yet you have to pay a monthly fee to build inside your OWN game? RIDICULOUS
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this game, but in it's current state, I cannot recommend it. Simply put, you have to grind so much with crafting and such, without any actual reason to do so in the first place. I have not yet found a good reason to grind so much since there isn't a community need for the many items you can craft (not even a need for yourself). So, you end up crafting a TON of items just to hoard all of it because it is virtually of no use to anyone. I think with updates, there is a chance for this to be corrected.
Me buy game. game good. Me happy. Play game. Stay happy. month pass. house gone. game want more money. me no pay. me have no house still. me sad....
A Game That Became More Than Just a Game I’ve played Pax Dei for over 1,700 hours, and I can honestly say it has become one of the most meaningful gaming experiences I’ve ever had. What makes this game truly special isn’t just the world, the building system, or the adventures — it’s the community and the developers behind it. The developers maintain an incredibly close relationship with the player base. On Discord they regularly hold polls where players can vote on which features or topics should be prioritized in development. It’s rare to see a studio that genuinely listens, but here the devs are constantly present, discussing ideas, reading feedback, and actively incorporating player suggestions into the game. It really feels like the world of Pax Dei is being built together with the community. The game itself offers a beautiful balance of experiences. Sometimes I spend hours peacefully gathering resources, building, and exploring, enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of the world. Other times I dive into fun PvE adventures with friends, where every journey feels like a small story unfolding. But the most important thing for me is personal: During a very difficult period of my life dealing with severe depression, Pax Dei gave me something to look forward to every day. The game provided calm moments, exciting adventures, and most importantly a place where I met amazing people and made new friends. It became more than just a game — it became a world I wanted to return to. If you enjoy community-driven MMORPGs, immersive worlds, meaningful player interaction, and developers who truly care about their players, then Pax Dei is absolutely worth your time. For me, it’s not just one of the best games I’ve played — it’s a world that helped me through a difficult chapter of my life.
