The name drew me in (Pax Dei means Peace of God). The fact it passed my filter settings shows it does not promote stuff I find distasteful. The world is beautiful. The combat mechanics are easy to learn. No theme park style monotony. No hand holding. No quest givers. Players level skills by interacting with the world and get to see it change each day. Cities grow where once there were only empty fields. No NPCs selling stuff, instead there are only players creating and controlling the economy. The story is yours and it is based on your actions and choices in a sandbox. If you like to socialize you can be part of great groups. If you like to mix solo with group play you can find fun all night and have stuff to do as you wind down. If you only solo and need guidance (quest lines) provided, consider that this game may not be for you.
I have played this game around 1100 hours at this point. Previous to this I was mainly a WOW player for many years. This was a nice change of pace for me. The building of a home was very different for me and I have enjoyed it. The game provides a lot of options for creativity and many have done some amazing things. The community is very different as well. It seems tight knit and people are always willing to help folks in need. There have been many improvements the developers have made in the short time I have played and I feel they have been positive. Just knowing they are continuing to evolve for the better is something to look forward to. I do highly recommend this game if you are into crafting, building and pve/pvp content at your own pace. Ich kann Pax Dei mit ruhigem Gewissen jedem empfehlen. Bitte lasst euch von den negativen Bewertungen hier nicht abschrecken. Jeder sollte sich selber sein Bild machen. Nach über 1200 Stunden im Spiel habe ich immer noch Spaß und jede Menge zu tun, sei es Bauen, Erkunden, Ressourcen sammeln, Craften, Handeln oder PvE/PvP. Das Spiel hat eine wunderschöne Grafik, sprich eine wunderschöne Welt in der wir leben und das Bausystem ist Klasse da es den Spielern jede Menge Freiheit gewährt so dass einem praktisch keine Grenzen gesetzt werden was man bauen kann, man benötigt eigentlich nur Kreativität. Man kann das Spiel absolut Solo spielen, doch kann es dann etwas grindig werden, besser wäre zusammen mit Freunden zu spielen oder sich einem Klan anschließen, da Zusammenarbeit hier im Fokus steht. Glücklicherweise habe ich persönlich einen super Klan gefunden wo wir alle mit anpacken damit jeder voran kommt und vor allem jeder Spaß hat. Wir haben wöchentlich mehrere Events wo wir als Gruppe losziehen und tun was uns Spaß macht um unsere Kampffertigkeiten hoch zu stufen, Gold zu verdienen und seltene Relikte abzustauben. Man sollte auch erwähnen dass Pax Dei eine super Community hat, in der alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit sind, sei es im Spiel selbst oder auf Discord. Nun startet das 7 Tage Trial wo ihr das Spiel umsonst testen könnt, schaut also gerne vorbei und macht euch selber euer Bild.

The founders packs we bought was supposed to give us lifetime plots thats why it was over 100 i bought all the packs to show support to the devs as i LOVED the game and idea they were bringing about. NOW i was scammed as they took all those perks away. I really wanna get a refund on that as i REALLY hate devs that scam. i regret ever showing support now. as for gameplay the game DOES look good and its somewhat fun but now you got to pay taxes to RENT a piece of land or SPEND IRL money to own land and if you fail to do so you Loose EVERYTHING. this is a pay to play game and a massive scam. just like i predicted the game ashes of creation to shutdown this game will be shutting down real soon aswell i suggest another game.
Bezüglich der Grafik und den Survival Elementen ist das Spiel schön und macht an sich auch Spaß. Doch es gibt ein paar Bugs, die stören und eine Story hat das Spiel absolut gar nicht. Nach ein paar Stunden neigt sich die Spiellust dem Ende und es gibt meiner Meinung nach nichts zu entdecken. Zudem verliert man nach 30 Tagen alles was man gebaut hat, es sei denn man investiert (haltet euch fest, wer hätte es gedacht) echtes Geld. Die Frage ist nur wofür? Es sind kaum Spieler da, man fühlt sich komplett alleine und das macht die schöne Grafik auch nicht wett. Sofern keinen Updates mit Story und Bug-Fixes kommen würde ich davon abraten das Spiel zu kaufen.

Great game but not for everybody! This game, as it sits at this moment is more a sandbox game for building your own homestead. Graphics and enviorment is beautifully done but there is a lack of purpose other than leveling your crafts and skills by grinding/harvesting wood and ore and you need a lot of it! The last update is a good step in the right direction to fix that tho (achievement/reward system). If you love spending your time building your prefect home and exploring the map (walking as no mounts exist for now) go for it, the map is HUGE! if you want quests, NPC's and a more MMORPG feeling, this is not for you. As to the monthly fee, it sucks because i bought the game in development as a founder with the promise of a plot, and now you need a monthly fee to be able to build your home. On the other hand it doe help to keep a lot of empty plot and clutter out of the game and you can play for free if you use a plot from a clan/guild. That said, the monthly costs are not that much, so if you play with some friends clan up and have one of you pay for a plot, set it as a guild usage so everyone can use it and split the costs, it comes down to a couple of euro's/dollars a month. You can even get your plot for free if you play, hunt, and get ingame currency. Convert your ingame gold coins into grace and use the grace to pay for your plot.
Habe nach 8,4 Stunden meine erste eigene Lagertruhe gecraftet. Fühle mich sehr stolz.
