Very simple roguelike spin on chess. I like it. Easy to get into and a playthrough only takes about 20-40 minutes.
Not perfect, you have to sometimes cycle cards and there are some unintuitive and annoying aspects however overall a massive joy for any fan of rogue likes, chess or strategy in general, also the ui is ugly but other than that it slaps.
Once you figure out all the moves, of you and all the enemies, it gets a lot easier. I died like 20 times before I figured this game out and beat my first dungeon campaign. Worthwhile but it'lll test your brain power for sure
Reminds me of old computer games in the 2000s with the main purpose of killing time. Boot up, complete a few runs, put down and don't touch until you get that itch again. Based on the achievements it is meant to be played 10x with each character completing (3) different zones per playthrough. Which is going to be a grind. It's a tactile puzzle game where you upgrade base cards that are drawn at random to be able to complete a set of floors to kill the final boss of the zone.
