In a labyrinth surrounded by vicious monsters, Explorers must rely on their Lasso to survive! Capture and tame ANY monster to leap, glide, surf, tunnel and websling through a treacherous, patchwork maze. This roguelike/metroidvania seems cute, but it’s a deceptively difficult bullet-hell challenge!

Easy to learn, hard to master. This ain't the first controller-centred game I beat with keyboard and mouse: I've already 100%'d NeuroVoider, a game reminiscent of this one in some ways. Plus the puns are just plentiful and beautiful. Plus, it runs really well! Shame you can't rename your island after; I accidentally named mine "iiiiiiii".
We played this game co-op as 2. Got 100% except for pins (85% of those). The game is great fun, one of the best co-op games out there. Great world + enemies design, very fun shooting gameplay with many different abilities. Absolutely worth the money. 9/10.

Contenido7Runs, criaturas, progresión y base: sólido, aunque no infinito.

Unfortunately Patch Quest is far too repetitive to recommend. Fun for ~5 hours, but you've seen all the game has to offer by then. Even for standard game completion, it's tedious for no reason. Fast travel only works for tiles you've visited in this run, and you will be constantly interrupted by enemies along the way. The map isn't even randomly generated, so the game is intentionally wasting your time. The enemy damage scales to force a restart after about an hour, so you will be re-treading the same ground a lot. The game actively discourages 100% game completion. Each area has many unique decorations, but you can only collect one after clearing 4 tiles, forcing more mindless replaying, plus RNG makes some decorations not spawn in a run. And for some reason you can only bring back 3 pets per run, so that's minimum ~20 runs to collect them all. All while monotonously going through the same areas you've been through before just to get to where you want to (remember the lack of fast travel). Thankfully there's a "casual" difficulty to cease the enemy scaling and make the game actually completable. It also exposes how bland the gameplay is, as enemies behave nearly identical to those on the other side of the map; at least that makes it easy to pick up any monster and adapt right away. However, encounters can never be quick because enemies have too much health, and there's never a decent reward for your troubles. Some enemies (especially bosses) can create unbreakable bullets or become invulnerable just to stall your progression. Again, I think this game is fun for the first few hours. The concept is great and the artwork is very nice. But the gameplay is far too repetitive, so I can't recommend this game.
Extremely fun twin stick shooter with really charming art and dialouge, and its actually pretty difficult too(im on keyboard instead oif controller tho idk how much that would affect the difficulty) I have watched the extremely interesting and entertaining devlog series and i finally was able to get around to playing it. i havent played that much yet but i am very excited for what i will find deeper in Patchlantis! 10/10 no notes!
Great game but not recommended for completionists, there's tons of stuff to collect but doing so often feels more fiddly than fun. I was originally planning on 100%ing Patch Quest but it's extremely unrewarding going around the map trying to track down the pins I missed during my playthrough (one where I got all four gems and unlocked/beat the final boss, no less). But, again, I got a solid 25 hours out of the title before running into that wall so I still have no issue giving it an easy thumbs up.
This game is so cute and low commitment, it's easy to just get sucked into the loop for hours. I'm not sure that I've ever seen a game like this at all before! If you're tired and you don't want to think too hard and just want something to plug into, this may be your game. I got this game on sale for $3.
Known about the game for a long time but the art style put me off, anyways finally bought it for less the £3 on sale (now i do feel kinda bad) its Fantastic and the ideas the team have & how they present them to you is very Unique and really fun, don't let the art style fool you because this can get very tough but its got that "one more run" factor to it, the art style quickly becomes part of its charm aswel The moster taming aspect fits and ofcourse leveling up pets unlocks new attacks/abilities, theres surprisingly alot in here and they have woven it all together Perfectly, runs great on the Rog Ally/Steam Deck, regardless of price ya shou,d pick this up and also keep watch of the devs future projects aswel
