[h3]✍️Overview [/h3] Past Mistakes is an 18+ visual novel which tells the typical story of a hero summoned from another world (isekai). This world has a medieval fantasy theme and features fairies, orcs, magic and elves. However, that's not all: the game's strong point is its interwoven narrative, which shifts between the fantasy and modern worlds in an interesting dual storyline, In which the protagonist tries to live his life as both a hero and a salaried office worker. [h3]📜Story[/h3] The story begins with an introduction to the fantasy world of Cadagan, ruled by Queen Ophelia and her four retainers: Jade, Evelyn, Lunna and Phoebe. The land is attacked by an evil being named Monn Molian and his powerful, fiery allies. They easily subjugate the queen and her retainers, forcing them to summon a 'crossless' — a kind of hero from the earthly world — who becomes the protagonist. Once he arrives in the fantasy world, the protagonist is informed of the situation and told that he must defeat Monn Molian in order to save the queen. However, first he must train with the four retainers to become strong enough to face Monn Molian on equal terms. This story is not what it seems. It starts out as a typical isekai with a harem, where the hero goes on a long journey with beautiful women with whom he later becomes "intimate". But it also alternates with a story from the modern world. When they summoned the "crossless", it came out incomplete. So when the protagonist sleeps in the fantasy world, he wakes up in the modern world and vice versa. This forces him to lead two lives, although with the possibility of encounters with more attractive women. The game's development is not entirely linear, as it involves decision-making that seems to have a major narrative impact, to the point of having different "paths". (The game is in early access, so it is not finished and therefore it is not known for sure, but the foundations are there.) These different paths have unique content. [h3]🛠️Technical section[/h3] Overall, the graphics in this game are pretty good. The character models and renders are detailed and have a sexualised design in the “thicc” style, featuring women with large breasts, buttocks and legs. This makes them extremely attractive. The backgrounds are of a lower quality, with lower resolution and generic designs. However, if you don't pay too much attention to them, they are acceptable. The sound is also a weak point. The introduction has a fairly good English voiceover and seven background songs for different moments in the story. However, after the introduction, none of the characters have voice acting and there are no sound effects, such as moans during sex scenes. This reduces the immersion. Finally, this game has 18 different achievements, although you need to buy the Mythic Edition to complete them all, and it has cloud saving. [h3]🔞Sexual content[/h3] [h3]Note: You need to install the +18 DLC from steam or you will not see any sexual content.[/h3] As this game is still in Early Access, there isn't much content of this type yet, with only seven animated sex scenes which vary in quality. Some scenes are fairly complete (e.g. the sex scene with the innkeeper), featuring different angles, sexual acts and smooth animations. However, there are also simpler scenes consisting of a single looped animation that is not very fluid and looks more like motion capture (a rapid succession of computer-generated images). Combined with the lack of voice acting and sound effects, this means that the scenes are not as erotic as they could be. As for the sexual fetishes present, there is not much to highlight since most of the content is vanilla: blowjobs, handjobs, fingering, masturbation and some futanari and lesbian content. The latter two are optional and can be disabled in the menu. In contrast, there is a wider variety of women/love interests for the protagonist, including women of different races such as fairies, elves, demons and witches, as well as women with different physical attributes such as breast size, skin colour and personalities. There are more than ten different attractive women. However, due to the early stage of the game, they are only introduced and there is no sexual content involving them. Nevertheless, it is certainly promising. [h2]💭Conclusion[/h2] Past Mistakes - Act I is undoubtedly an interesting visual novel, offering a story with a unique twist, such as a protagonist who alternates between two worlds. The large cast of sexualized female characters will get you motivated, and the sexual content is of reasonable quality, so you can finish what you started. The main negative point I see in this title is its price. It costs more than $10, even with the launch discount. I think this is a bit high for the initial content, especially since there is paid DLC costing $5 that unlocks sexual mechanics, such as X-ray vision and hidden erotic renders. Some other games include these features for free. While I understand that the extras help "sponsor" the game, it seems excessive for a game in such an early stage of development. In conclusion, I like the game and will keep an eye out for new updates. The heroines are attractive and have a lot of potential. However, I advise adding the game to your wish list and waiting for more content or a lower price. The previous game from the same developer, released a year ago, had a slow development process with only two updates. An isekai game with an interesting concept regarding the crossing from one world to the next and back. This mechanism alone is enough to create drama and cause difficulties for the MC. If you like isekai games with the MC going back and forth between the modern-day real world and a fantasy alternate world, then this game will scratch that itch. As it is EA, you may need to wait several months before it really gets into the meat of the story, but at the time of this writing, it's a solid start. The renders are quite good from a technical viewpoint. Whether or not you like the subjects of the renders is all personal taste. Many of the female characters are too top-heavy for my likes. I've seen worse in other games, but it's bad enough here to be a negative distraction for me. I'm sure for some players it will be a positive distraction. To each his or her own, but you know what to expect now. Not a lot of content here yet, certainly not enough to make it worth the price paid, even on sale. But there's definitely potential here. In the EA notes, the dev says they intend to raise the price of the final version from what the price is for the EA version. They'll need to add a [i]ton[/i] of content for the current [i]sale[/i] price to be worth it, and a ton more content if they intend to raise the final price. If you have faith in the dev and you think you might like this game, I'd consider buying it before the price goes up, if you can get it on sale.

First i'm going to say i'm taking a chance on this avn even with it's higher price for an ea title. This is a complete honest review from my perspective from start to finish, your ideas may very. With any game the first 15 mins makes or breaks the game and immersion. The whole overlay in the castle just turned me off. It made everything look soft. Personally i would have like to see particles used, and it flowing in vs a whole soft screen. Of course i know the dev was going for a feel of the environment and art style, but wasn't my cup of tea. From what i understand he fixed this after i got the game. It's refreshing to see that if you didn't filter or forget you can change the futa gender on the fly. The xray option is used well, not what i was expecting after playing so many games, most use xray to show a guy into the other person. This xray just removes cloths. The ladies are thicc but not overly exaggerated as some japanese ladies are in anime. No super deformed ladies here. I played all the content that is here, all 3 paths in 111 mins. I think the quality is here for a great game, so i think i made a wise choice taking the risk, but time will tell. The only thing i would ask is that in xray the x in the upper right is if you could make the bounding box bigger. In other words not just an x to click on but a box behind it to click on. The fact the x is small is great for us wallpaper people, but it's a pain to get exactly on it. If there was an invisible box that was bigger then the x would be nice, but not sure if the game engine gives you that kind of control. I'm looking forward to the next update, keep up the great job you are doing so far. The renders and animations are looking good.

OK, so... This came out in late July 2025. But it's now Mid April 2026, and they've hardly done anything. Yeah, the artistry seems great. But the story is clunky, robotic, and not at all entertaining. It is so very wrong for a Dev or Publisher spits out an incomplete game. Complete the F'n thing, then release it! I really hate these F'ers. So here's another Dev I'm boycotting anything from. And as far as this incomplete P.O.S. goes, it'll be uninstalled, and erased from my library A.S.A.P. Incomplete is the same same as broken, in my opinion. Can't believe the F'ers conned me into getting a broken F'n game! Save your $! Go find a complete AVN. You'll get nowhere with this, like the Dev is getting nowhere.

Em past mistakes voce se muda de cidade em busca de uma nova vida, porem em sua primeira noite nela voce é enviado a outro mundo! e voce é o escolhido para acabar com o grande mal!,será que voce conseguira equilibrar as duas vidas nos dois mundos? dependerá de voce! O jogo tem um começo bem promissor com uma vibe bem ''isekai'', porem com uma ideia boa de vagar entre os dois mundos, as renders do jogo são bonitas com algumas personagens bem bonitas e outras nem tanto do meu gosto. bem mas no geral é mto curto ainda para eu achar alguma coisa do game pq ele esta BEM curto por enquanto, nesses momento gostaria que tivesse uma nota neutra para steam porem irei recomendar por enquanto ja que achei o começo promissor mas recomendo esperar mais um tempo antes de pegar. dependendo do rumo que o jogo tiver ou a falta de atualização poderei mudar a analise.

Kann ich das Spiel empfehlen? Eigentlich nicht wirklich, es bietet nicht einmal 90 Minuten Spielzeit, das ist für den Preis von über 10 Euro eigentlich nicht akzeptabel. Wer wie ich dann sogar noch die Mystical Edition und den Walktrough DLC gekauft hat, kommt auf über 16 Euro! 16 Euro für derzeit 90 Minuten! Natürlich ist es ein Early Access Titel, aber das ist schon hart an der Grenze. Die Gesichter finde ich gelungen, aber die Proportionen speziell der vermutlichen Love Interests sind vollkommen außer Rand und Band. In einem Fantasy Setting mag dies ja nicht so eine große Rolle spielen, aber für mich sind die Protagonistinnen rein visuell nicht attraktiv, selbst die Figuren mit im Verhältnis geringer Oberweite dürten in der Realität schwerste Rückenbeschwerden haben. Ich habe ja nichts gegen wohlgeformtes, natürlich gewachsenes Holz vor der Hütten. Aber hier ist es schon so extrem übertrieben, dass eine beispielsweise eine Christy Canyon wie ein vorpubertärer Teenager wirken... Die Geschichte selbst erschein interessant, wenn auch nicht wirklich originell. Das MCs aus der realen Welt in andere Dimensionen gezogen werden, haben wir auch im Adult Visual Novel Bereich ja nun schon häufiger gehabt. Auch scheint mir die Charakterzeichnung trotz der teilweise monströsen Körpermaße durchaus liebevoll angelegt zu sein. Man möchte schon wissen, wie es weitergeht, wenn ich persönlich dann auch eher vermeiden möchte, die Protagonisten unbekleidet betrachten zu müssen. Es ist wie es ist - wer die Vorschaubilder hier im Steam Shop attraktiv findet, und wen es dabei nicht stört, dass dieser Early Access Titel noch ganz am Anfang ist, und wer dann noch nicht vom Preis abgeschreckt wird, der soll natürlich gerne mal einen Blick riskieren, es gibt ja auch eine Demo. Hätte ich die vorher gespielt, hätte ich mir das Spiel nicht gekauft - dass muss ich allerdings auch dazu sagen. Ich werde es allerdings behalten, die Story interessiert mich nun doch, auch wenn mir das visuelle nicht gefällt. Die Steam Errungenschaften scheinen so weit zu arbeiten, man kann auch seine Vorlieben im gewissen Rahmen voreinstellen, seinen Charakter und den Save Games individuelle Namen geben und es scheint sogar eine Galeriefunktion zu geben, zumindest kann man die im Cheat Menü freischalten, sofern man sich den entsprechenden DLC gekauft hat, der Walkthrough dazu ist auch interaktiv, sprich im Dialog werden dann die entsprechenden Auswahlmöglichkeiten hervorgehoben bzw. die Folgen in Klammern angezeigt. Ich hätte mir etwas mehr Diversität bei den Proportionen gewünscht. Ich hab zwar nichts gegen ein paar Kilo mehr auf den Rippen - aber natürlich verteilt sollten sie schon sein. Eigentlich ein unentschieden hier beim Spiel - die Story positiv, die Modelle negativ. Und da im Zweifel für den Angeklagten bzw. Entwickler also doch eine gaaaanz knappe Empfehlung von mir. Aber wie gesagt, das Spiel hat seine Schwächen meiner Meinung nach speziell in der Optik, und die X-Ray Funktion wird mit der Zeit auch ein bisschen nervig, weil man sie nicht an der selben Stelle am Bildschirm aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren kann, man muss mit der Maus immer auf die entgegen gesetzte Seite, das stört ein wenig den Spielfluss. Und weil sich dahinter insgesamt mindestens drei Steam Errungenschaften verbergen, kann man sie auch nicht so einfach ignorieren, sofern man sie denn überhaupt frei geschaltet hat (sind Bestandteil der Mythical Editiion (4,69 Euro) plus des kostenlosen Adult Content Patches).
