About
5 Minutes Until Self-Destruction is an escape room-style puzzle game where you're trapped on a spaceship moments from destruction. Think fast - or get blown to pieces.
The ship is filled with interconnected puzzles and minigames that test your logic, observation, and quick thinking.
Features:
- The entire game unfolds over a strict 5-minute timer
- Solve interconnected environmental puzzles to unlock new areas and ultimately defuse the self-destruction mechanism
- From the very start, the final goal is in plain sight
- Fast loading and restart times
- Completion timer for speed-runners
Can you outsmart the countdown before time runs out?
DISCLAIMER
It’s a short game by design, and the time-to-complete varies depending on how quickly you can think and act. Finishing on your first try in under five minutes is possible, but very difficult.
Fun quick puzzles buried under a pile of bugs and loud sirens
Thanks to the dev for the free copy of the game! This is although a complete and honest review regardless. This game had the potential to be a frantic, fun little puzzle rush, but instead it ended up being five minutes of stress stretched into an hour of frustration. The core idea works: the puzzles are clever, the timing is tense, and there's a strong atmosphere that makes you feel like the walls really are closing in. The pacing is tight but fair (when using a mouse instead of WASD), if everything goes smoothly. Unfortunately, almost nothing does. The game sometime crashes if you so much as click outside the window, I lost a perfect run that way and nearly self-destructed myself. Add in two puzzles that are entirely auditory (bad news for the hard of hearing or anyone without perfect headphones) and you’re already in rough territory. The timer is merciless, but instead of being spent on puzzle-solving, a chunk is wasted waiting on unskippable animations like elevators and bridge-building. One of the main puzzles is flat-out bugged if you don’t play with your mouse since the WASD keys can’t even reach every button, despite being the default controls shown. And if you crank the volume to catch the audio clues? Get ready for the auto-destruction announcement to blast your eardrums. On top of that, there are no achievements, no accessibility toggles, and no option to turn off the timer to just practice puzzles without stress. What could’ve been a fun and short escape challenge is instead a crash-prone test of patience. If the bugs were ironed out, I’d happily recommend it, but in its current state? Don’t touch this one with a twelve-foot pole, unless you enjoy exploding out of sheer irritation. Сложная игра для тех кто хочет испытать мозговой штурм. Куча головоломок нужно успеть решить за 5 мин, причём доступ к ним разбросаны по всему космическому кораблю. https://youtu.be/o4RPthPYFtw
This game was a fun short puzzler! A quick way to pass the time and honestly is a lot of fun when you are dropped right in! Keep up the good work!!!!
I was sent this game by the developer, but I won't let that affect my review. The game is short but has decently challenging puzzles. I personally enjoy the radio puzzle where you have to tune in to hear the next code. A good game to try and beat your records. Some thoughts I have is maybe adding modes that changes the difficulty like swapping the puzzles in different order, or making entirely new puzzles that can randomly appear for added challenge. It would also be rewarding if each time you complete the puzzles you get a new entry log to uncover more about the crew. I would like to figure out who or what started the self-destruction sequence.
Pretty fun little puzzle game. Good stuff
Never did I think a game would make me simultaneously so anxious yet so thrilled. This was a delight to play and finish. Now I kind of want to go and make my friends play it and see them unravel and the elation they'll feel when they finally make it.

Well made short little game to stop yourself from blowing up. Priced right for a brief diversion into a short and sweet little escape game.
