i honestly don't know what else to say about this game aside from it being very neat! a appreciate how the story is told and cases amp up more and more in how serious they are yet never escalate in proportion. one thing i diffinitely appreciate is how the game reprisents all kinds of cultures and people in the most kind and human way i have ever seen from a story so far. the extra 6th case was also a blast to play through. only real criticism i have with the game is that some of the evidence you have to present can be unintuitive but that happened maybe twice so it isn't a big deal. to summarize: if you like a cute mystery game with a well paced concise low stakes plot, with grounded crime thriller mysteries where you can feel all the love that went into writing it this one is definitely for you. my rating for this game is a 9.5/10

Jogo muito bom, não se tratando de ser apenas "uma Phoenix Wright" usando verde. Justina, após fazer um bom trabalho, é premiada com mais trabalho. E assim vai ajudando nos casos, colhendo pistas e realizando interrogatórios. O jogo tem vários personagens legais e não é tão punitivo quanto outros do gênero, valendo a jogatina.

Four cases in, I like it and it really scratches my itch for more Ace Attorney (which it references A LOT) though there is just a bit of tonal inconsistency (it goes from realistic to bonkers and back). The fact that it lacks the health bar from the Ace Attorney games just keeps you from save scumming, which is a HUGE positive. Sometimes I was a bit lost on what exactly were the inconsistencies, and I missed a bit more of investigation or the "pressure" mechanic to get more information, and well, it also falls into the visual novel trope of overexposition and underexposition at the same time, but sometimes it does really neat things like giving you gradual information about the main character instead of dumping everything at first. It also features really beautiful pixel art.

Pros: -It's cute -The sprites are nice -Music was nice as well -Toasty ! I think it's a decent game, though I personally would only really recommend picking this one up on sale. If you're not new to Phoenix Wright like games you will most likely find the cases very easy. I didn't find much challenging and got through them quickly. To that point, this felt pretty short which was one of my issues with this game. I felt like the pacing for this game moved way too fast. If it had slowed down more I would have maybe found myself more caring about the characters and their stories if they were fleshed out more. I think it would have helped the story beats as well. But it just felt too rushed for me. Which is a shame because you'd feel more of the impact in certain moments if it had slowed down some. At times I felt this game explained more than let you experience. We don't really experience the married couple much in real time, just more explanations. But I'm wondering what are they like together with issues or without? Seeing things like that I feel would help this game really come into its own. Or a character struggling with imposter syndrome, resolves it fast without much fuss after a pep talk- things like that need more fleshing out. It was just jarring to see the shift from self doubt to confidence that fast. Just polishing and expanding on the core of these characters since we spent so much time with everyone for this whole game would make a difference. It also sometimes suffers from modern writing at times- just constantly beating you to death with a theme so blatantly. I found it distracting at times. Overall, this game is even more optimistic than Phoenix Wright. If you like things on the more lighthearted and optimistic side, I guess you'd like it since it feels like things are easily forgiven and conflict never seems to last very long. If you're looking for short and cute experience in mystery adventure VN it's not bad.

It's alright but not worth the price, get it on a discount. It's obviously inspired by Ace Attorney but i'd rate it as being very average, add in that the price is not worth the amount of gametime youg get out of it and you have me not recommending it - at least not at the current price. The cases are very predictable, the characters are alright but nothing special. The story itself doesn't have the wow factor and twists and turns that Ace Attorney had, and the cases are shorter. You also lack a strong 'rival' lawyer like some of the Ace Attorney games, they get along fairly well and it's just quite a plain relationship that's not very interesting.

Your character is not a detective, but gets roped into doing detective-y things anyways, This game's equivalent of a courtroom is spread out into testimony given in the investigations and interrogations.
