I have had to stop playing due to a bug that prevents me from gaining mana beyond the base amount; meaning any mana that should count towards my Max mana from items are worthless. While ignoring this bug I would still not recommend this game. It feels like an Early Access that is not complete. The bestiary page that is increased by picking up cards from slain monsters that are not already in your bestiary yield useless information. The monsters all seem to behave pretty much the same way. There is some unintuitive mechanics that are more punishing in a rougelike. For example, when you use a Scroll of Uncursing it does not allow for uncursing an item in your inventory, you have to equip the Cursed Item 1st then use the scroll. The Rune system is meaningless. You can only cast Runes you have already learned from finding Crystals, either from Epic Chests or what seemed to be more common from killing Dragons. You can memorize the patterns of your learned Runes and do that every time or what is way more practical you just assign the Runes you want to use to your Shortcut / Hotkeys F1 - F5. The Talents Champion, Heavy, Hunter, Ninja, Runic, and Merchant also feel meaningless. They just increase the rate of 1 specialization to increase faster.

a great game with a very intersting magic system. I love it!
This is a nice roguelike game. I like that it can be played with the mouse and/or keyboard, and you don't have to memorize several dozen keyboard commands, making it a rather friendly roguelike for introducing new players to the genre, while still able to challenge veteran players. I love the amount of character customization that is possible, and it is clear that a lot of love and hard work went into making the dungeon levels fun and interesting. There's certainly some room for improvement with the interface, and some things could be better explained. Most people don't instinctively think, "It's a scroll. I should drag it to the Mouth to use it." The fact that you have to remove your melee weapon and shield in order to enchant your equipped bow isn't exactly obvious either. I'm optimistic that these things will be addressed over time and future patches, but even if they are never fixed, I am definitely getting my money's worth of fun from this game and regret nothing.

I'm not one to write reviews, but this game really blew me away. I really wasn't expecting to like the game this much, the apparent bad graphics made me put this game on the "maybe i'll buy it at a discount" list. I'm 32 hours into it and now i feel bad for buying at a discount. I'd 100% buy any DLC for this game. 10/10 for me.
Even though I have .3 into this game, its quite fun but only issues I have is beginning enemies might be a bit too hard, and the movement is quite clunky.....other then that, its quite an enjoyable game!
Check out my full review here: http://3rd-strike.com/paper-dungeons-crawler-preview/ Four years after the release of Paper Dungeons, Agent Mega released its sequel Paper Dungeons Crawler in Early Access. Keeping some of the known features and introducing some new ones, the developers surely improved their game. Save the kingdom of Cyndaria and protect the tree of life once again! + specialization system, good looking, fun gameplay - boring music
.
A fun game. A bit hard to start out and unbalanced classes (Ranged is OP), but once you get past the first floor your options really open up.
