Only the German campaign is fun, but you can't just help WW2 Germany conquer Europe and leave it at that, so I played the rest out of guilt. Quite frustrating, the 20 unit limit is dumb.

Genial :)
Game is a knock off of other similar games but poorly developed. Repairing and then rearming takes too long, Interface is clicky and often you miss click something. No auto save means your constantly reloading. I bought it for $5 it guess I cant complain
I recall having fun with this when I bought it years ago. Now I started again a German campaign to have a go at it, but either I have forgotten how difficult this is for me, even with the easiest mode, or something has changed. The unit cap is something silly. You don't have enough slots to have a core army with flexibility enough to deal with some of the more demanding scenarios. AI has fortified positions with like 4 AA-guns, 4 artys, tanks + infantry and good amount of attack planes + fighters. With stuff like that, you're gonna lose half of your experienced units just trying to get things done in the given time. Yep, too frustrating for me. Let's be clear on one thing though. I'm a casual player and I really don't want to spend hours bashing my head to the wall to find a solution how to knock out some beefed up AI. I'm in it to have fun and click away.
I like this game. Reminds me of the good old "Panzer General" game. This is a big compliment. The gameplay is fluid and satisfying. I would have liked there to be some more keyboard shortcuts though.
It's like Panzer General.
