Panzer Killer

First things first..... the game is not bad at all for being 7 years old at the writng of this review. It is a fun tank sim with simple contols and a simple HUD. You as the player are not overpowered and it does require some thinking when you are actually engaging targets. Now as for the technical stuff... once you have downloaded the game go to your steam folder then to steam apps then common , find this game and then right click on BOTH the applications and run compatability checks on them. It will run with no problem after you do this, but you have to run the compatility checks on BOTH... or else you wont be able to shoot.(:P) Last thing.. now you run the game (if you dont do the compatabilty FIRST wndows 8 will get caught in a loop :D) Enjoy.

Игра детства, когда-то часами играл в игру, проходя миссию по несколько раз так как сливался ))))) были времена)))

Простая аркада на танчиках на пару вечеров с элементами симуляции (разные типы снарядов, разная толщина брони у техники, ограниченный запас топлива). Управление на WASD. Для запуска на 64-разрядных системах нужно выставлять совместимость с Win XP. По умолчанию игра на английском языке, файлы с текстом доступны из корневой папки, но перевести их на кириллицу не выйдет - надо менять кодировку файла и при этом не сломать игру) Непонятно для чего в игру добавили пехоту, она появляется в паре последних миссий в количестве 3,5 человек, и, не успевая подбежать к противнику, быстро погибает. В качестве приятного бонуса в некоторых миссиях дадут покататься на автомобилях. В игре есть условная разрушаемость объектов на карте, по типу домов, заборов, мелких объектов, но при этом отдельно стоящее дерево вы не сможете снести даже бронебойным снарядом. Иногда боты могут затупить уперевшись в стену, но такое происходит крайне редко. На близком расстоянии точка прицеливания на виде от 3 лица не совпадает с траекторией полёта снаряда, лучше переключаться на "вид от командира". Соблюдайте Женевскую конвенцию, иначе с вас спишут 500 внутриигровых очков за уничтожение немецкого санитарного грузовика.

Not the most spectacular game, but it's a decent way to kill several hours and it's worth the $3. Plus, no mission is bad enough to hurt replay

I would say that this is a mixture of a tank simulator and an arcade genre. There are only about a dozen unique maps in the game, which are repeated throughout all 55 missions, but with different enemy formations and weather conditions. In terms of gameplay, you control a tank that is just as vulnerable as your opponents. Some missions are designed to force the player to use buildings as cover, or drive along some remote path. Often the game tells you which path to choose and what to do, so that it would be easier to complete the mission. However, there is nothing special for new players. It was fun to play 10 years ago. Now it's just a source of nostalgia for those people who played it before.

Schade das sich das Spiel nicht starten läßt. Trotz mehrmaligen runter laden und installieren....es funktioniert nicht.
