Now, the denizens of Terminus must uncover the mysteries of their past and unlock the silenced power of their gods. For war will come again. And this time the dragons won’t be there to save you.

I love the game but sometimes feel like I'm going to die of old age before it launches. (I'm actually serious. I'm an old guy)
They are actively working on the game. It's not abandoned like other EA games. I enjoyed the game for the past year but as of this writing they are working on Mastery system for all classes that basically double the classes they need to balance. All good if the base classes where balanced and working to begin with. The Devs are endlessly reaching for more than they can handle. Changes happen so constantly that you'll be left wondering if they have any direction they are headed to or if they're just thinking this all up on the fly. The major problems is that the devs can't seem make up their minds on anything and stick to it. The game has been in constant flux for over 10 years. I loved playing it from when it hit EA to before PTR servers started. Now it's not worth any bodies time. I suggest you wait until classes are solidified and devs are ready to move ahead with fleshing out the world. Not worth a penny into the current game.

Just bought the game last night to find out a full wipe is coming in a couple weeks. Been craving this style of MMO for awhile. 21 minutes of EQ type nostalgia was worth it. Will be back after the wipe to sit in groups for 17 hour sessions while slaying dry bone skellies on the Frontier for 3 ticks of experience every 82 minutes.
unfortunately im gonna give this game a thumbs down, ive been waiting months (more accurately years) for basic quality of life additions to the game like a mail system for example, and while thats been done for some time, they havent implemented yet in favor of holding it behind stupid npc additions to end game zones, because the majority of the surviving player base (of which there are very few) all just sit there and do nothing cus everyone new has quit because they dont have groups to run with, nobody to sell their profession items to and no way to atleast mail it to another of their characters, incredibly boring with a pointless grind and a few of max levels the devs cater to while they ignore their game is dying, DO NOT waste your money like i did
Pantheon’s population collapse is not just bad optics. It cuts directly against the game’s core design. This is a group-dependent MMO. Low population hurts any online game, but it hurts Pantheon more because grouping is not optional flavor. It is the premise. Wipes and early access explain some drop-off. They do not explain the scale of what SteamDB shows: a long decline from thousands of players after Steam release to a tiny fraction of that later on. The remaining players are then divided across servers, time zones, and level ranges. The actual pool of available groupmates is much smaller than the already-low numbers suggest. For a game built around grouping, that is the core problem.
700h jugadas antes de Reseñar. Español mas abajo... English: The game is very good, even though it's still in development. The setting, the class approach, the music, the maps, the difficulty... all of these are features that I have a very good overall impression of. The problem has been the recent updates, where they've messed around with the class mechanics, causing such aberrations as having to equip Intellect and Stamina on a Rogue to be able to deal damage with DoTs (damage over time) or a healer having to melee to be able to use some of their class techniques. It's also not possible to say anything, because if you leave a negative opinion in the patch notes, those fascists will ban you from the Steam community... Anyway, if the game becomes somewhat coherent again, I'll consider changing my review. Although I don't recommend it right now, I'll refer to the first thing I wrote in this review.
Here's a cleaned-up, more readable version that keeps the same critical tone: No one plays this anymore. Do not buy it. They finally opened the PTR, but they keep completely reworking classes over and over again instead of fixing the core issues. They release changes without properly testing them. The developers have even admitted that they make changes and hope they work, leaving players to wait a week for a fix—or sometimes no fix at all. They aren't listening to player feedback, and it shows. The player population has collapsed. There are reportedly fewer than 100 accounts online at any given time, and many of those are multiboxing. That means there may only be around 50–60 actual players. The game has been driven into the ground by constant unnecessary changes, poor testing, and a lack of meaningful responses to player feedback.
Only 1 server is active really. Wasted 800 hours on a server that now has like 5 people on it and customer service wont move you to a populated server... They just say start over on the 1 server that has some people on. Waste of time save your 40$
This game is underrated ngl. I guess it turns people off cause you have to do some problem solving and play carefully, it plays incredibly well in a group. Buffs are impactful, all roles and classes are important. It gives off old school vibes. I wish more people played it.
