Combat ain't the best. But the general game feel is fantastic and is a hundred times better than Craftopia thats for sure. Generally as far as a survival crafting game goes I definitely say this one is great and has alot of good going for it. Some things like the arena are to be desired. Some of the harder stuff on default damage settings feels personally to me a little unbalanced. Which is funny cause I find the newly official release VERY balanced and lots of fun. But some of the materials( especially for sessions that have many people) can be nightmarish to get. A personal nitpick for me is the lack of visual variety involving the Pals themselves. There are no shiny variants which would have been cool. But also the selection, while great only falls under cutesy and cool designs mostly which I find a bore. One thing both Pokemon and Digimon have downpat and has been built upon for many years is the visual variety. You have pretty, cute, cool, ugly, weird, mysterious type of creatures and more. Palworld's variety feels small. A personal gripe of mines. But I am not here to compare these games either way. The Pal mechanics aren't deep or anything and exist solely to serve their purpose. Regardless they are fun. If you like Survival Crafting games with a twist and creature collecting as well. Then I would recommend this game to you! However keep in mind; that with survival crafting games mileage may vary. So the fun and interest will depend on your own feelings of the mechanics and such. Still I would recommend if it tickles your fancy.
