Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Hey all, PurplePike here. For no particular reason I am going to do a
!! SPECIAL DOUBLE REVIEW !!
and review both Palworld and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you're wondering why I'm not reviewing a Pokemon game next to this, it's because I have never played a Pokemon game and they look quite dull, at least the newer ones.
PALWORLD
So I just beat the game and man is this game good. It's incredibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jank but it's a type of jank that's very fun and surprisingly deep, I mean 50+ hours into the game and I found out about the rabbit hole that was pal breeding, like 50 HOURS IN AND I WAS STILL FINDING NEW STUFF! The mechanisms in this game are very deep as well, so it's not like I just bred two Pals... like the Pals were breeding not me... and I was experimenting with that for ~10+ hours. Me like! Perhaps the most annoying thing about this game is the grinding, unlike a game such as Terraria or Minecraft weapons cost a lot to craft, require maintenance, and often have their own ammo type UNIQUE TO THAT WEAPON SPECIFICALLY that is also (usually) costly as hell to craft. Because of that I also had to manage my bases a lot which I feel detracted from the much more fun and exciting action of exploring the world and finding new pals to capture. My other gripe is the artstyle looking like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that makes the game look like it's borderline an asset flip but the game is good so I'll let it pass - if there's ever a Palworld 2 I would like the artstyle to be more like the animations on their YouTube videos, those animations are incredibly cute. TL;DR: Very janky game but extremely fun with deep mechanics, also quite grindy though which wasn't always pleasant to work around. 8.5/10, such a charming and enjoyable game!
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: TEARS OF THE KINGDOM
Despite having several years to work on Tears of the Kingdom and already having a baseline in the form of its predecessor, Breath of the Wild, TOTK is incredibly disappointing even for modern Nintendo standards. Almost every single addition to the game hilariously detracts from the main enjoyment of the game - that being exploring the open world - and thus somehow ends up WORSE than BOTW, despite that game itself being heavily flawed and Nintendo's first attempt at a Zelda open world game. Since I can't dig into every issue TOTK has (since that would be everything), here are my highlights. People were sucking Nintendo's ♥♥♥♥ for having a building mechanic in this game, but whenever you enter or exit a loading area your vehicles disappear, so ♥♥♥♥ you. The most efficient vehicle is therefore the most useful, and that would be the "hoverbike", being two fans attached to a steering wheel which completely removes the "exploration" factor from a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ exploration game, so double ♥♥♥♥ you. Nintendo must've seen Elden Ring have an underground section that blew people away so they added "The Depths" to TOTK, and while surprising on a first visit it quickly becomes apparent it's just a map-sized rock biome that one would think is borderline unfinished - I mean, they even have ITEMS FROM BOTW'S DLC AS REWARDS, LIKE SERIOUSLY. BOTW's story wasn't anything to ride home about but at least they factored in that you could view it in any order, not for TOTK though and so its story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Speaking of that, even the quests are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up because they were giving me tutorials on how to use a camera A FEW HOURS BEFORE THE FINAL BOSS. People were also sucking Nintendo's ♥♥♥♥ about bringing back the sky (even though it was ♥♥♥♥ in Skyward Sword), and not to my surprise it was also ♥♥♥♥ in TOTK, with only three unique sky islands - one being a small walk, one being a "dungeon", and another being the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial area. To say this game is an embarrassment would be an understatement. The combination of time, financial freedom, and talent on this project should've made it a slam-dunk, but instead they ♥♥♥♥ the bed so hard that Elden Ring is still haunting their dreams as evidenced by them again trying to emulate Elden Ring by putting a "Rouge-like" mode in Donkey Kong's new game. Genshin Impact is also a ♥♥♥♥ game, but at least Genshin has the excuse of being a gacha game; TOTK is a Nintendo flagship game that is $70 and somehow it is utter slop and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Everything good about TOTK is directly due to BOTW, which is insane to even say, let alone think about. Personally my lowest-ranked game of all time because of the sheer ♥♥♥♥-up of a title this was given the potential: 2/10 - the only reason it's not a 1 is because it technically is still a game that functions. Just play Palworld or Elden Ring instead, and eat ♥♥♥♥ Nintendo lolol

US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 374.86/day in the week to Aug 26 → 398.29/day in the week after.
Of the 14 markets with a position on both sides, 6 climbed and 8 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I tried this game twice and both times I abandoned it at the same point. The base building is fine, but the way you upgrade it is horrible. To upgrade it you'll need to place workbenches or assembly lines, some of which are way too big, forcing you to build on multiple levels to fit all of them. That wont be a huge problem if the pals weren't so prone on getting stuck on walls, stairs or small terrain bumps. On top of that you'll have to build the upgraded versions of these big stations to upgrade the base level so you'll have to go twice through the annoying experience of positioning these big workbenches and aligning them with the rest of the stuff. It could've easily be bypassed with something like "install this chip to upgrade it" and be done with it. There isn't any artistic direction, the palls stick out in the wild and have guns, workbenches made out of planks or driftwood and assembly lines, villages/slums and oil rigs, futuristic stuff and medieval weapons. Some of the decorations are bizarre like the cable reel, garbage bag and earthen pipe. There are 10 levels of spheres. GRIND FOR THE GRIND GOD The story is bad, so far I did not encounter any npc that has voice lines, the quests are campy and the world is big but empty with the occasional slum.

good
ENG I completed the game with a friend in 8-10 days, practically nonstop. The game is captivating with its cute creatures and surprisingly interesting storyline. Grinding is rewarding, not burdensome. You can hand-feed and pet the Pals, and some can even be ridden. The animations are high-quality, the visuals are pleasing to the eye, and the huge number of Pals allows for a wide variety of builds. The subtle difficulty settings allow you to tailor the game to your needs. Each Pal has its own strengths and weaknesses, and you can even catch people. It's a shame you can't catch a friend in the Pal-Sphere. The raid bosses are well-designed, and when you get the egg, the boss doesn't become super weak. After hatching and reaching the level you were at when you fought him, he'll give any Pal on the map a run for its money. The descriptions of the Pals are sometimes funny, sometimes quite creepy, and the final boss is absolutely brilliant. But there are also bugs. For example, the water base is technically flat and an ideal place to live, but pals can fall through the textures. Resummoning via palbox helps. Pals sometimes can't climb over low obstacles or don't jump down after you from low ledges. Overall, I liked the game; I'm currently replaying it again, but solo; the gameplay is too relaxing.
