Isometric doom with Aliens. The second level has one of the sickest turret sections i have seen in years, just pure fun.

20 years later we finally got Alien Shooter 3! I would love to see a NG+ mode but that's because I'm a sucker for revisiting a campaign with the powerful endgame weapons and with remixed enemy layouts!

More of a Alien Shooter 1.5 than 2 or 3, but it's a pretty solid foundation. My two biggest gripes are somewhat lacking OST compared to OG Sigma Team games and pretty short campaign (survival mode is only two stages and disappointingly easy). Maybe it's possible to add something like a gun stats randomizer mod for survival?

Can a game be considered a 'rip-off' if it's better than it's inspiration in every way? Palpus X Annhilator is the Alien Shooter sequel we'd have if Sigma Team actually improved upon the engine and gameplay of their ever-worsening series. If it becomes a series - as it damn well should - we could have a new reigning champion in the isometric, explosion-at-a-slaughterhouse simulator.

This review goes for every Alien Shooter, one of the first games I ever played ;) As for Palpus X Annihilation - It manages to recreate the same feeling as old Alien Shooter did, only more modern, smooth gameplay. Music is also top tier for the gameplay just like the old games. Thank you Sebastian!
