I love this game! It's one of my favorites. I will, however, only recommend it on the basis that you'll get it on sale. ...Unless you love dinosaurs way too much and enjoy grindy, repetitive gameplay. Which I do, that's why I love it, but you might not... + adorable dinosaurs, first of all. Can't have them cuter than here. + many colors to collect! If you like shiny hunting or similar stuff you'll enjoy that. + beautiful visuals. I love the art direction, everything is stylized and cute and has such a nice, calm vibe. + fun NPCs. Not the most fleshed out, but still sympathetic and they work well in the setting! you can befriend them and they have their own little stories :) + you can decorate the ranch and customize your home and your character! + tasty looking crops :3 - gameplay is pretty repetetive at some point. - quests are... not super fleshed out and get boring fast in my opinion. - the game can be kind of clunky! Big dinos do sometimes get stuck when you try to turn ;w; it's pretty easy to get them out again but it does get annoying sometimes. - some things/mechanics seriously lack explanation in game, I wish there was some way to get tips (like characters having dialogue that explains mechanics?). I still don't get how meteor showers work lol. - overall the game feels a little unpolished. I wish there were animations for (dis)mounting dinos, some more variety in the quests you can do... Just some little extra details. Or the added dialogue to give out hints on features the game has. tldr: If you don't mind looking up info online, like dinos, typical farming sims and low stress gameplay, you'll probably like it! On sale it's definitely worth the price, you'll get enjoyment out of it. Story takes probably about 30-35 hours to complete leisurely.

This is one of the best games I have ever played, it fills me with such joy and whimsy in a way few other games have. I genuinely don't really have any complaints, the game and story are fun, I love exploring the world that is actually a lot bigger than it initially appears, and the town/people have so much depth it adds a lot to the game. plus all of the fun dinosaurs, they are so wonderful This world is teeming with life and personality, from the dinosaurs interacting with each other (and all their fun colour variations :D), to their different animations and interactions and everything makes me so happy. I love collecting them but unlike a lot of games, i don't really feel a compulsion to collect absolutely everything, nor do I feel any fear of missing them since I know I will see them all one day. This game is the best and everyone who is even a little interested should play it

I liked the fact that obscure dinosaurs are in this game, including my favorite the Utahraptor. but can any one explain to me why i am current softlocked for: keeping a saddle in my inventory. i am currently trapped on my farm because while on a tutorial i cannot A: leave B: save C: put a saddle on the dinosaur the tutorial wants me to put a saddle on. and D: put the saddle in my chest then take it out to fufil requirments. i feel like this is the kind of glitch one would find on a blind Test play though seeing as is it required to be able to ride a certain dinosaur to progress AND it is never disclosed that friendship increase after a day has passed, not at the moment edit: I am stupid, apparently there was a saddle on Lucky's fence, in my defence, not many people would assume "oh i better go look in the back of a pen to saddle dinosaur" when they already had a saddle.

De verdad, ojalá pudiera decir que me gustado este juego. LO POSITIVO: Los dinosaurios son adorable y obviamente la mejor parte. Hay una gran variedad de especies, desde los clásicos y famosos a otras paleofaunas menos conocidas. Poder cuidar de ellos, interactuar y trabajar usando sus habilidades ha sido de los más enternecedor en mi experiencia jugando. No lo he llegado a experimentar a fondo pero se también de que hay todo un sistema de skins/diseños raros que los dinosaurios pueden tener, lo cual puede ser interesante si te gusta el coleccionismo. LO NEGATIVO: No estoy super familiarizado como el género de "Farm Simulator" de modo que puede ser más un problema mío, pero la progresión y el gameplay me han parecido demasiado lento, torpe y difícil de navegar. El inventario siempre tenía que estar manejándolo, lo cual creo que no me habría importado tanto si tan solo se pudiera organizarlo fuera de nuestra casa, y todas las acciones de esprintar no costaran estamina. "Vaya, ¿Cogiste una seta por el camino y ahora tu inventario esta lleno y no puede recoger el cristal que necesitabas en la otra punta del mapa?" Se siente, vas a tener que volver a casa y agotar a tu dinosaurio antes y perder tu tiempo. No hay opciones de viaje rápido tampoco. Construir es obtuso, tienes que estar saliendo del menú constantemente. Y todo es caro, solo en comprar la comida de tus dinosaurio te gastas perfectamente cientos de monedas. Tengo que estar prácticamente trabajando de verdad, cultivando hortalizas en el huerto y venderlas para conseguir dinero. Y personalmente, no me gusta sentirme que estoy trabajando de verdad cuando juego a un videojuego. OTROS ASPECTOS: La historia es muy sencilla y los personajes con los que interactúas también. Personalmente no me ha molestado este aspecto, cumple su función perfectamente. Pero si buscas personajes entretenidos, no creo que sea tu juego. Creo que estaba buscando en Paleo Pines una experiencia más inclinada a cuidar y convivir con tus Dinosaurios y no tan centrada en la granja. He léido que el pasado 30/6/2026 anunciaron futuras optimizaciones para el juego. Quizás en un futuro, con suficientes mejoras del "Quality of life", le vuelva a dar una oportunidad. Pero hasta entonces, lo siento Paleo Pines y tus lindos dinosaurios, no has sido para mí

I really love to play Paleo Pines and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes dinosaurs and quest based farming games. Make sure that your dino's pens are clean and that they're fed because otherwise they will slack off.

fun little game with growin your own crops and making friends with the local dinos. only 2 gripes is that sometimes its difficult to figure out what the dinos need to become a helper and that you need 2 dream stones in one enclosure to make it fit a biome which is kinda wasteful for the carnivores that are loners.v other than that its so relaxing and fun!

Highly recommend this game to anyone who loves dinos in a wholesome way. I've been seeing a lot of dino games coming out that are either straight up horror games or about hurting dinos that are hunting you. There are not a lot of games out here where you get to live alongside them peacefully like this. This may be more of a cozy sim, maybe more kiddy than many would like, but it is genuinely enjoyable to go out and find new dinos, especially the lesser known ones, and make friends with them, have them traveling alongside you, and feel accomplished. The art style is just so cute, cozy, and lovely, I love seeing my favorite dinos this way, although -and this is just my personal nitpicky opinion- I think the human models could be a bit cuter! I think that's just because I don't like the doll look, but that's just me. I enjoy the game all the same. The world is genuinely fun and beautiful to explore. There are puzzles to getting around that sometimes requires you have a dino with the right skills to open the path, other times it depends on your story progression. I am truly in love with what i've seen and am super excited for the kickstarter update. I was not able to support it, but I was able to buy the DLCs to add in what I could. I genuinely don't care if my name is in the credits. Its certainly nice, but what I care about more is seeing this game succeed. It really does deserve so much more love than its gotten. If this game is for you, please support it if you can! I can't wait to see more of what's in store!
