Pacific Storm Allies is a hilarious and chaotic experience! I never expected to be laughing while dodging enemy fire and managing my fleet. The blend of strategy and unexpected events keeps you on your toes—one moment, I'm launching a surprise attack, and the next, I'm frantically trying to rescue my ships from a rogue wave. The graphics are vibrant, and the sound effects really pull you into the action. It’s like being in a naval comedy where the ocean has a mind of its own! If you're looking for a game that mixes intense battles with a good dose of humor, Pacific Storm Allies is a must-play!
I played this game a lot of hours on standalone client. Unfortunately it is full of bugs that will doom your save sooner or later, usual bug is crashing save because one of the pilots died and now plane is considered "empty", crashing the save. Saves are hard to edit, so it is almost unavoidable.
I have good memories of this game. Tried my best to enjoy it again, but even with community patches it remains unplayable after a while. Corrupted save games seem to increase drasticly with the duration of the campain and working around all of the other bugs/flaws in execution made it a chore to play. I hope someone picks up on the idea sometime, because it has the potential to become something great.

First game i bought Though it crashes alot... Like ALOT to the point that if you put more than 30 ships in a battle when its 1945 you would definitely crash, maybe steam might to be the blame But anyways this game has quite alot of things that you could acutally enjoy and a plethora of bugs that you could abuse One is that you could acutally customize your unit loadout from rigid weapons to guided missiles. Two is that i like that i can merge ships into a fleet meaning i can make a naval division of any ships i want , But the micromanagement is also both fun and frustating cause i could build ammo and ships and planes as such to send it to other bases but the thing that keeps me from becoming a superpower is the Personnel mechanic, You're telling me that i have to build navy schools(which are limited and random for specific bases) to train a couple hundred seamen just for all of it to be sent on 1 aircraft carrier, I hope that(but never might be) arcade mode will remove the need of this, Also arcade mode is super buggy where it says that you can build units instantly but then when i order 1 unit of something it insteads eats all my resources and build excess units that i dont need and cannot fund enough personnel into it Overall this game has tons of micromanagement but acutally fun to play if you ever get the chance to fight a fleet,Though if the devs still remember this ancient relic and overhaul it it could be one of the best games i ever played, 7/10
It doesn't work
