The handy washing tool is used to wash away various types of grime, stains, or even biological residue. While the washer can move small objects, there are better tools for that job.
The vacuum tool is designed to collect small items and surface debris like leaves and papers. However, the vacuum has a capacity limit. When full, you will need to eject a compressed trash cube that can then be processed at the recycling station.
The robot's integrated graspers are used to move objects and deliver trash cubes—along with other debris too large for the vacuum—to the recycling station. These recycled items provide valuable resources that can be used to repair broken objects in the environment.
Utilize the resources acquired from recycling to repair broken equipment and objects in the environment.
Remaining resources at the end of the level are automatically converted into upgrade scrap which is then used unlock powerful upgrades for your cleaning bot.

Clean: Deploy the high-pressure spray washer to instantly clear biological residue, stubborn grime, and environmental corruption.
Vacuum: Activate the tactical vacuum to sweep up debris and instantly forge compressed Trash Cubes—the ultimate loot for easy disposal and resource acquisition.

This game sucks ass. It's a tried and true genre that's fairly fun, that is to clean up disaster areas. But the time to clean a simple stain is insane. It's like a full ten seconds of spraying water to clean one stain, but vacuuming or repairing something is nearly instant. It's not engaging to water these stains either. You just over the water over it. You don't wipe the area down, you don't find a back and forth pattern to clean an area, you just point the water at the stain repeated 100 times. It feels like there should be an upgrade tree somewhere to alleviate this, but there isn't.
All of the sfx is really irritating to listen to, made even more annoying from the bi-directional audio so 90% of the game your left ear is just getting blasted by sound. The game also performs terribly, there is some sort of jittery motion blur going on constantly that makes me nauseous on a 7900XTX. My friend is on a nvidia card and getting the same thing. Finally, there are some doors that are locked behind keycards and it is possible to lose these cards. So you will spend 30mins cleaning the front half and then be hardstuck and have to start over. Not fun.
This is relaxing after apocalypse cleaning game. It is in EA and has more to share with coming updates. So far you can go on your cleaning spree through 6 big rooms. I like the chill and non-complicated approach to cleaning. I wish it was such an easy task at home. You have unlimited water supply to shower all the dirt with. You have vacuum-cleaner to get rid of the bigger pieces and then you have the grabbing tool to carry and toss out the big chunks like boxes and other stuff into incinerator. And the material you gain afterward is used to repair the broken stuff around. There is also mystery of "what-happened-here". If you are looking for something more complicated, with more cleaning steps to go. You might go and have a look somewhere else. But I would definitely say - try and see for yourself. If you are not sure, test your cleaning skills by playing demo. I like the look of the game, I like the pace of the game (it is up to you) and I am looking forward to more!
Entertaining, relaxing, addictive, with multiple engaging game mechanics and an intriguing backstory - everything you want a cleaning sim to be. I love it!
NOTE: This game is early access, and I'm taking that into consideration. P.A.C.K. is the first half of Pixar's WALL-E, except you're in a liminal-spaceish empty office like Portal or The Stanley Parable, playing Power-Wash Simulator. And if that sounds good to you, you'll get a kick out of this. For what it's worth, that all sounded good to me, and I am - thus far - getting many kicks out of this. You're a robot, cleaning an abandoned lab/office complex after *something* went kablooey and did an apocalypse. Throughout the game, you learn bits and pieces of the whole story in the form of frozen memory spheres. Those are explained in-universe, as is the nature of your existence (you were built specifically to clean up after an apocalypse, by someone who - I suppose - expected one to happen. Maybe there's a little Fallout in this game's DNA, too...) In terms of gameplay: the best way I can sum it up is "it's way less rough than you think." That's not damning with faint praise - the game plays really well and you can get yourself into a lovely, satisfying loop of spraying, vacuuming, crushing trash (ooh that's a satisfying sound), periodically broken up with story bites... once you figure out that you can highlight all the things you need to clean in order to clear the level by pressing the "tab" button. It's early access, so I'm guessing they'll make the UX (in the early parts of the game) a little clearer as newer updates arrive. I can't speak for the whole story because I'm only a few hours in, but the way the story is presented so far is very, very cool.
The sound effect is AWFUL, the water sound makes me literally want to rip my ears off it's so grating. I immediately got a cube stuck under a table with no way to get it, there's 0 progression and it takes forever to clean up a single spot while the sound effect makes me want to kill myself. 0 out of 10 and i typically love cleaning games. This feels very thrown together more like a test than a thought out game.
I was one of the beta testers for this game, and enjoyed doing so. It's a calm and relaxing game that rewards diligence, while telling a story along the way. No adrenaline rush, no enemies to fight; just get in the zone and do your thing. If you enjoy mellow slice-of-life games, if you like simulators where the goal is to do a good job, or if you're like me and your OCD rewards you for coming up with rules to follow and then following them through the entire game, you'll find your place here.
Where do I even start? This game is absolutely spectacular, and I can easily see it rising above many other popular titles. It strikes a perfect balance between satisfying, fun, and interactive gameplay. From using key cards to unlock new areas to uncovering the mystery of why the humans disappeared, every moment kept me engaged. It was—and continues to be—an amazing experience. I also want to give a huge shout-out to the developer, Nitrous Butterfly, for their incredibly fast responses whenever I ran into issues. Every fix was clear, effective, and often came with multiple alternatives just in case the first solution didn’t work. It’s rare to see a developer so genuinely committed to making sure everyone can enjoy their game, and it really shows. With the roadmap clearly guiding the future of this game, I can say without a doubt that this is shaping up to be one of my all-time favorite titles. I honestly can’t express how excited I am for future updates.
This game showed up in my discovery queue, and I am so glad that it did. I finished it in one night. I love cleaning games, and I love that there's actually a story here to discover. I cannot wait for the updates. :)
Has a lot of potential. Very chill cleaning up game in single player. The only issue I had was playing this online, where picking up some objects was not a great experience if you aren't the host. Once online desync issues get fixed and more levels are added, I'm sure this will be a great play-with-your-friends game.
