Reviews
This game is a fantastic blend of roguelite and tactical gameplay. The developers did an excellent job merging the two genres, and I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t gained more attention on Steam. The replay value is solid, with numerous class, companion, and equipment unlocks that keep things fresh every time you play. I especially enjoyed how the story evolves as you get stronger, with multiple endings to uncover. It adds a layer of depth to the experience, making each run feel rewarding. Overall, this has been a very enjoyable experience, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re into tactical roguelites!

maybe the game was good at one point but it is completely broken now I played it for a few hours when i first got it and then quit the game. I tried to continue a week later and was sent to a word map with nothing revealed and controls wouldn't respond, it was only fog i tried starting a new game, and all the options were blank. no fields filled in, couldn't even name my character tried following the advice on forum: run beta build, reinstall, verify integrity, nothing worked. seems like the only way to play this game in 2025 is to pirate it
played this game in 2016, then finally purchased it couple of years ago to supp the dev enjoyed it a lot
A highly replayble pocket RPG - in fact, it's a pocket RPG that you have to replay in order to get the whole story. Not only does it have a surprising amount of diversity, but it also has its own story editor. Even if it's far from it in terms of gameplay or even mechanics, Overfall gives me Chrono Trigger vibes.
Great Artwork. Great Storytelling. Only complaint is that the game is a bit too hard and not much growth to the characters along the journey, which makes late game playing a bit punishing.
