Reviews
not as good as kingdom
Pathing is atrocious and the game does one of the biggest crime a game can make, namely
being boring and not fun
. The screenshots on the store page look way better than the actual game too. This game could be 2D and it would change literally nothing by the way, considering the level design is in a way that there's no two gameplay elements side by side .They are all stretched out in a tunnel level design following each other in a row. The 3D is just a gimmick here.

Literally kingdom is better. Here are obvious reasons why. -Variety -more levels to do stuff/return to -actual crazy fights not these "I am archer, I shoot and only aim at one a time" BS -Literally had over 20 and it literally looks like their all mainly shooting 1 or 2 and that's it at the gates. -No tower types just one and done (Falls under variety) -Where is any other fighters? All you get is archers man. Where the knights? the wizards the darn pictures show off or mages/healers I think another one is? Can't make a group at the front line and defenders hold them off and not lose all the archers instantly. -tedious clicking on the stations, primarily archer station. Can't hold and rapid make to faster get them moving. -Dumb archers. Can't believe I'm adding this but they are dumb. Walls near destroyed but none retreat even when one says to. They sit there not slowly move back while firing and... come on. There is no end to what I can add or say. Yes, I saw others saying about kingdom but because they said something about it I am allowed to speak about it. Mainly from the devs or speaker of sort that said something about it. From this and them admitting it I will compare it by any means, Showing why and how this is worse then kingdom I've seen. Not to mention other kinds of kingdom games that again, have much more variety then this. Due to the 0.5 sudden release to 1.0 especially rather then adding more things, IE tower types, characters for them or other, better ways to gain or earn certain things to, this is by far worse then kingdom of any degree. If they add much more stuff and prove they wish to make this much more different then it but similar concept then better do so. Otherwise I will stand by this review. Once they do many more updates to prove better I MIGHT give a better review. That is all.
LOVE AND HATE IT AT THE SAME TIME! With the same energy, passion and footwork! Although I lukewarm recommend it (Steam needs a MEH! option); the original Kingdom frustrated me, and wasn't as successful with the 2 crowns coop (because I have no friends and playing with randoms wasn't the best experience) anyway "the wild age" is nice when I want to disconnect my brain; think this game was more of a demo for the programmer’s skills/buff his resume, rather than a love letter to the original kingdom! -a lot of empty areas that could have been used to be filled with "houses" to keep your citizens as your army grew, for the aesthetic value, -could have made a tavern to keep all the unemployed citizens inside, if you didn't want to get more archers, especially during winter when the farms are closed to reduce clutter/lag or just to fill the empty squares that don't spawn rabbits which tend to be an eyesore -the great barricades stay empty...allow us to garrison archers there - even if we don't see them, or make it that some get away when the barricade gets destroyed -barbarians/cultists took the place of the greed blobs from the original, I like their design but it's curious that the more archers you have, you can't kill more than 1-2 at a time -there's not much variation, from the main objective- kill /survive - the BUILD BOAT miniquest is underwhelming compared to the original (only appears in 2 scenarios ehm islands if I recall correctly and it just fill your coin purse and pay up the next level, unlike the buy pieces and wait until the builders fix it) - BOAT RANT you don't get the sail away option, you click to go from one island to the next, would have been a nice option to "have the boat fire its cannons at the enemies so you get fewer enemies from one side during the night but you have to pay coins every day like with the merchant -it allows you to make your own maps and play -torches tell you which side the attackers will come from, archers will move to enforce the area that will be attacked (sometimes???) -cutting EVERY tree around vagrant camps and merchant WON'T destroy the merchant -interest in the banker/treasurer guy will grow with more maps you play (started at 8 got it to give 12 coins/day on random island) -banker won't gather the coins in front of your castle, like in the original, it will only accept deposits of 10 coins, would have been nice to be able to put more at a time -you can see how much you actually have stored in your treasury; it will cost you 1 coin to take out your money back, the pop-up message can take some time to appear at times -only 50 coin bag limit tends to be frustrating -your pet will collect coins -avatar gives bonuses depending on who you choose, pet is just cosmetic, polar bear is fast to collect the coins - deer mount isn't as effective in attracting and making deer to follow like in the original -BAKER wasn’t copied here so you won't have vagrants coming to you, but you get a vagrant camp to spawn villagers for 6 coins each -FARMS that are built only have 3 farmers instead of 4 in the original, apparently just like in the original they don't protect the farmers overnight - would have been an awesome thing if it did -YOU CAN DECONSTRUCT buildings, YOU CAN'T switch the jobs of the NPCs -sleeping mount randomly plopped on the ground making me love 1-2 in game hours -stamina refill option doesn't always trigger -the throw coin/stamina refill has the same button and gets the AI confused at times -noticed a weird dance circle/menuet move when your mount circles around the tree/merchant/treasurer -spend coin options won't trigger sometimes near vendors (yes you lose in game hours trying to reposition) -woodcutter cuts wood, before it was the builder, although noticed that the woodcutter tends to run around and collect coins at times - MAJOR LAG after day 50 -the last achievements will be time consuming - 12 hours like time consuming (yes I made a large map just to hunt bunnies); same for deer (just make forests with a wall 1-2 tiles before the bandit camp) -NO coin pooping unicorn, like in the original -NO SIEGE SHOP, no catapults, no knights, no ballistae like in the original -archers increase in rank - new cape colours but no info on damage/range/hp -NO PIKEMEN that fish (1 coin) like in the original kingdom -more hints would have been nice, rather than random "thank you for playing our game" - for how many days the winter is, :(
Я так и не понял в чём смысл этой игры, игра мне не понравилась, к тому же игру забросили, категорически не рекомендую.
the game is so short and simple, but in fact the amount of fun you get from it is extremely unbelievable!, each new game you play you become a better person, you do better plans, manage your money in a more effective way and the pouch becomes full of money faster!, and let's not forget the freaking awesome background music.
