Reviews
It takes basic rpg classes and combines them. with a dark souls ish vibe for players that like a challenge!
What I like about it: Include its expansive, beautifully realised landscapes that reward slow, deliberate exploration without fast travel or mounts. The game features a unique no-levels system where character strength is defined entirely by gear, skills, and survival management (hunger, temperature, weight). The magic system is particularly innovative, requiring players to prepare specific conditions or rituals before casting, and the co-op support (including split-screen) significantly enhances the chaotic, rewarding nature of shared survival. What I might find disagreeable: Centers on combat with unintuitive hitboxes and a steep, unforgiving early-game difficulty curve that can feel tedious. The world is visually appealing but largely empty, with repetitive traversal and a quest system that relies on vague directions rather than clear markers. Additionally, the story is thin, and the game’s lack of hand-holding means players often need external wikis to understand skill requirements or trainer locations, which can break immersion. Ultimately, it is highly recommended for fans of hardcore survival mechanics and atmospheric exploration who don’t mind grinding, but it is likely unsuitable for those seeking polished combat, a strong narrative, or accessibility features.
Fun but hard, some quests aren’t clear enough about objectives/locations, and combat is very unforgiving. Though that might just be my skill issue lol
A steel wall to bash your head against once more and once more again; the ultimate recipe for pleasure.
