Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game is actually pretty fun once you start to learn what you can do its a little buggy and maybe a little bit of lag when going to marshal stations and shipyards but everything else is good. i do recommend the Dev look into adding some more stuff to do like space races or things like space bars or cities on planets of each race. And i also think that you could add in things like a doctersor gangs. Something a little like rimworld but not a full copying and also add maybe even underground fights or underground space fights if you could but this game is already great as it is so keep it up because i can see this game become something everyone will love.
Played for a while, not a bad game just really buggy.. was ok in the beginning, but after I jumped to a new sector everything went to hell. NPCs get super buggy, constant crashes, autosave doesn't save, factions cant decide if they are hostile or friendly, crew unassigns from rooms randomly, side quests vanish, side quests don't finish when completed.. Like i said, good game, the devs are active, just needs some work..

I must say that i really enjoy playing this game even if not everytime but l really love it. The applause is directed to a Developer and other players which help this game to get better everytime. To Developer are the biggest due to that he is doing all by himself. I must say that i am waiting patiently to look how the game have changed when it is right now and how it would be to play this game after a full release. If it came to bugs - every bug which i came across - i have posted in bug section on a discord server. I really love in this game that you can build your own ship - in a solo gameplay or in editor. Lastly the game has changed - right now in this game you can play as a bounty hunter , a cargo deliver. And community on discord server is pretty solid. If you need help with game or don't know what to do - they (including the Developer himself) will help, rate your ship or rate also opinions or suggestionts what to do to get this game better.
Legitimately awful in every way Edit for the developer: I don't understand why steam allows developers to respond to reviews when comments are disabled and I'm not turning them on. I refunded this game after 20 minutes, I do not care if you improve it and I don't feel obligated to do any QA or provide any commentary other than it was awful, but since you insist to the point you overruled my preference for communication: I saw the videos and descriptions of what this game is like. I enjoy space games, especially simulations like Ostranauts that give me things to do in space. When I booted up the game I found out pretty quickly that the ship seems to be static and I only get to fly around in a little pod which kinda sucked but okay, I'll go with it. I tried mining some asteroids and gathering resources because the tutorials said it was important. An enemy called sputnik kept harassing and exploding on me, one time killing me inside the larger ship and that was not fun or engaging. I just move away from it while holding the laser on it and get nothing for the combat. This encounter with sputnik seems to be on a repeating timer so it just kept coming back and chasing me while I tried to learn the controls for the pod which I slowly found out are mostly arcade. That's a preference thing since as I mentioned I tend to prefer a more simulation style approach where the idea of "stopping" doesn't exist because there is no universal 0 speed, but I get it, I was wrong about that part of the game and that's probably on my expectations, not the game. I took all my resources back to my main ship and tried to craft something because the pop-ups told me I should build 3 very specific crafting stations to make rods, walls and floors for building onto the ship. The building menu is laid out so that entering it presents you with I think 5 options and 4 of them don't seem to be valuable, you have to click the first one on the left and enter yet another menu with tabs and buildables. Okay, let's build one of those 3 crafting stations, nope requires refined resources, chips wires and other junk I simply do not have and do not know how to acquire. Whelp, back in the pod and I'll fly to a nearby.. station? I dunno what's out there because I picked a direction that seemed to be leading to something on the minimap but after several minutes of flying and killing a pod from some other faction I just gave up. I don't know what I'm supposed to do in this game. I don't like the building menu, I don't like the arcade feeling of the flight and every system I engaged with was not fun. Flying was not fun, building was not fun, combat was not fun and mining was not fun. "Legitimately awful in every way" I stand by it. Please do not contact me further, that is all the free QA you're getting from me.
Super cool and promising game, I can only imagine how awesome this game will be when Its finally released. Even in Early Access, there's a decent amount of content. the ONLY thing that annoys me is how many enemies (called sputniks :>) come for you, I can't catch a break! xD either way 10/10 for early access
-------------- English: Very good start for this indie game! If you enjoy games like Necesse, Space Haven, The Last Starship, Core Keeper and other games in the same style, then "Out of Orbit" is definitely worth checking out. The game still has a few flaws, but the developer really listens to the players and fixes issues quickly, which is something I really appreciate. For example, with a large ship, the zoom-out level was too limited, so you constantly ended up crashing into buildings… a real nightmare ^^' But this issue should be fixed soon. There are also some bugs with manually operated doors that sometimes refuse to open, as well as aliens getting stuck in door corners or even glitching through the ship and ending up floating in space 😅 Overall, despite these small issues, the game is already very promising and really fun to play. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves!
Strangely addictive with incredible potential for an early access title!
Fun game i guess
For a solo Dev - I'm super impressed. Talent, in addition to passion, have given Out of Orbit a identity of all it's own. Yes - there are bugs, however this is still very early access, and keep in mind dear players - this is a solo dev (who has faithfully given meaningful versions and news updates for nearly FIVE YEARS! For what's he's been able to accomplish thus far, is not only impressive, but a lot of fun! I can see him laying ground work that will pave the way for more galaxy wide and organic and emergent gameplay that you know and love. Love it, and highly recommend you support this project!
I played for 2 hours, and I have opinions. I'm going to start with the one that nearly made me shutdown the game after minutes of starting it: the windowed mode doesn't work. the cursor is misaligned when in that mode. it won't stay where I place it, and it even reverts to full screen while the settings show it being windowed still. on to the game play itself. what the <bleep> is up with the character movement and the head being controlled differently? forget how it looks like the character is walking backwards, with a shattered neck. do you have any idea how frustrating it is to walk up to a crate or a machine and not have it be interactable until I move my cursor so the head turn toward it? make a decision, either have us control the character with WASD, or with the cursor, not both. The Pod what the <bleep> is up with maneuvering the pod? where is our sideways thrust? don't tell this pod can't have that, it can move backward, and even spin, that is proof it's got side thrusters. let us have side thrust. refueling the pod is needlessly complicated, to a frustrating level. that we have to build the fuel manufacturer before we can refuel it? fine. that we have to make bottle after bottle of fuel, take them to it and then click on the bottle to refuel it? give me a break. the sputnik are so <bleeping> annoying, especially in conjunction with the pobs really poor maneuverability, they almost made me quit a few times. about the research, I'll only say that having only an option between turning pirate or being a victim is extremely black and white and not particularly interesting. here is how I felt after two hours of play. this isn't an Early Access Game. this is a Playtest level Game. it should have been given more time to bake
