在末世第一反应不救父母把暗恋对象救出来就囚禁在地下室拳打脚踢又不做黄事的故事吗,有意思
I will go on to say that I can't even finish this. I WANTED to finish it, but I can't get myself to. First off, for the gameplay/reading itself, I felt like a lot of it didn't make sense. For starters, it seems like you have to make certain choices to where her confidence is boosted or you need her to be more trusting, but ONLY at certain time. Normally, visual novels like this have a status page or something to see where the character's status are at. Technically this does offer that, but I am used to a bar graph or percentage chart of what characters are feeling. In this one, you have to judge her face. How can you do that when there are so few expressions!? Secondly, I am very confused about the choices you are making in this novel. I consider myself to be a moral person. However, *SPOILER* this novel seems to FORCE me to go against those morals. Whenever I thought I made the right choice, I would always get the bad ending. Yet, when I went against my original moral choice, somehow I was able to progress and things turned out well. There were some points where I have to make other choices, but some of those were more logical and felt more right. There were even times where it seemed like things were fine, but then it took a HUGE turn for the worse. Overall, I just don't get this and I honestly felt uncomfortable playing along at times. For the artwork, I thought that it was beautifully done. However, maybe it was too well done? I say this because a couple locations have been recycled. There were minor changes to these images to make them look different, but you can't help but feel you see the same thing over and over and it gets boring. It is like "Power Rangers" fight scenes; you would watch the show and probably enjoy it, but you can see they obviously used scenes from previous episodes. You won't see new artwork until you hit major events and trust me it takes a while to get there. Another thing about the artwork, I find that it is too censored. NOT REGARDING THE NUDITY (If there is any...). There have been scenes where I expected to see horrifying images of destruction or blood and gore, but it missed those opportunities to give the scare in the readers. I feel like this visual novel could have offered some psychological horror and didn't take the opportunity. I am not saying I look for that in visual novels, but this one seemed like it would have fit perfectly. For the music, I have only played almost 5 hrs worth and I think I have only heard 4 tracks. There is not a wide range and it is repetitive. Like the artwork, the music loses its value at some point. I will say this, when they do play, they kind of capture the moment. Now, I love it when you find that visual novel and there are voice actors. However, the voice actress they chose here was VERY poor. She does have her moments, but overall I can't love this character. There are scenes where she needed to deliver the anger, the sadness, the joy, etc. But in all her scenes you never really get it out of her. Her tone of voice is too soft and it is pretty much the same throughout the visual novel. I was barely able to hear she was speaking Chinese. In conclusion, at this point, I have invested about 5 hrs, I have achieved 5 endings, and they were all bad. As I have said, this game counters my morals and I am not really comfortable reading this. I would understand if those choices made sense, but this novel fails to help me understand. Even after my death or achieving the bad end, the game would provide "tips" but they aren't too helpful. I question myself and I really don't feel that this grabbed me enough to continue. The "good" ending that I would like to see might not even be worth it. As of right now, maybe I can try again and continue, but I can't get myself to do it. Overall, I give this visual novel a 3 out of 10.
I thought the premise of this game looked interesting... but I don't think I can even finish it because MC is BEYOND cringe-worthy. Just even reading some of the options makes me wonder why someone would even create such an irredeemable protagonist like this? This guy has the social abilities of a juvenile delinquent that was locked away in a basement for most of his life by crazed parents. He's constantly being full-blown creeper and some of the thoughts he has are full blown psychotic! The interesting puzzles, mysteries of the world, and premise of the story are completely obliterated by the unhinged psychopath that is the MC. I mean, the guy straight up
rapes the girl and she only freaks out about it for a day or two, before slowly returning to the "normal" routine that they had before and even sleeping in the same bed as him
! I imagine that this writer knows literally nothing about human psychology and the dehumanization and trauma that happens to someone who experiences something like that. This game begins to play out like some guy's sick fantasy... I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. Period.
I think it would be good to write a review in English. This is a game with great replay value and I highly recommend it to English-speakers as well. I think it is almost impossible to get things ringt the first time, and you have to try mulitple times to get that good end (which I haven't got one yet sad) The major trick with this game is that you have to place yourself in others' shoes. Doing what you think is right might not be the best for others, a part that gives this game a great replay value. But I mean the art is pretty good what else do you expect? You got a cute anime girl >.< A good game to heal my emotional traumas from doki doki literature club ==Chinese review (contains spoilers)== 说实话觉得是个很好的游戏,很有replay价值。

7/10. A push for gameplay in a medium largely bereft of it and a story with interesting lore and surprising twists are thwarted by a poor translation and uncertainty on where perception ends and reality begins. First: There's some post-story content that is currently untranslated. I made a machine translation for it, which you can find if you check the Steam guides for the game. I strongly recommend not looking at it until after you've completed the full story (it won't make a lick of sense otherwise), but it should be mentioned. ... It is my understanding that visual novels are called "adventure games" in Japan. As strange as it seems, even the scant few choices one makes are enough to qualify as gameplay. Our End of the World (henceforth Our End) is somewhat niche in that it does have a "real" gameplay element, in addition to the standard VN content. It's no Danganronpa or Zero Escape, but the difference should be mentioned up-front. Presentation: Not very impressive. The backgrounds are okay, not great. There's only ever one character shown during the game; her art isn't bad, but also isn't special in any way. The music is pretty nice (the main menu music is incredibly relaxing). The game always starts in windowed mode: you can change it to fullscreen (I just used Alt+Enter), but be warned there are certain segments where you'll need to enter information, and the position of the text box (or rather, where you put your mouse to select the text box) seems off in fullscreen. I had to jump back to windowed mode during these segments. They're made more troublesome by the fact that it "checks" your solution when you press Enter (like pressing enter on a password box), and at least one puzzle gives you only one chance to solve it before failing you. You'll likely be saving frequently enough for other reasons, but be aware of this limitation. Gameplay: There are two, maybe three main types of "gameplay" here. 1) Traditional VN choices 2) Sections where you must pick a correct sequence of actions to take (like dining, chatting, having fun, etc), and 3) Light puzzles where you're presented with information and later must use it to solve a puzzle. The VN choices are mostly used to send you on broad, overarching archs, the action-picking sections typically lead (quickly) to alternate or bad ends, and the puzzles are usually pass/fail with a bad end directly afterwards. The first of these is fine. The last is mostly fine, though there was one puzzle I looked up a solution for (and I don't think I would been able to solve it, just because the way it used the information given beforehand seems so weird). The second of these is where issues arise. The problem is that there's only one critical path through the action choices, and there are extremely limited hints on what actions to take. You're presented with 5 different options, and usually have to choose between them at least 5-6 times during a "chapter" - that's 5^5 or over 3,000 options. There are just too many permutations to brute-force things, and with a-few-but-simply-not-enough hints on what to do, I wasn't interested in banging my head against a wall. I tried several times during the first chapter to progress, but eventually gave up and wound up using a walkthrough. Story: The store page has the premise - the world has ended, and the MC and a girl are the only survivors. Pretty much everything in this story should be experienced directly, rather than beforehand, so I'll avoid detailed discussion. There are a couple points that need to be mentioned, however. The first is translation. It's pretty poor. It's enough to get the gist of what's going on, but detail is lost, and there were moments in particular where what was meant to be an "emotional" scene was harmed by flat writing, or overly emotional language was used during a fairly neutral scene. It absolutely hinders the experience. My second criticism is a mild spoiler, so if you're already set on getting this you may want to avoid it. Anyway: it's possible for something to be too much of a mind screw. This story does that near the end, and the portion afterwards doesn't do a very good job of explaining the differences between one's initial perception of the story and one's "post-twist" understanding. The untranslated novels only make this worse: the first is set during the same period as the game yet seems to present a third perspective, to the point that I wasn't sure where the truth was anymore; the second is after the game, and uses characters from the main story in confusing ways, while also introducing new elements that aren't clear. This definitely feels like an experience with meaningfully mind-bending lore behind it, like Himawari or Yoko Toro's stuff, but very poor translation and general lack of clarity of where the truth really lies make it difficult to appreciate the impact of any of the story.
If I was half believing this would be a good game at the start, now I'm 100% sure of it. This visual novel has an interesting setting/plot, and mystery that keeps you thinking. I especially like the different endings. The only issues I would say are that replaying parts of the game to get different endings can get tedious, and that there are a lot of spelling/grammatical mistakes. The first issue can be somewhat addressed by saving regularly and utilizing the skip functionality, and the second one doesn't really bother me, but may bother others if you're picky about that sort of thing. Overall I recommend this visual novel because not only is it interesting, but it is also very affordable, even at full price. One last note, I have more playtime then it says I do. Oh, and another note, I still have over half the endings left and it was worth the money for the content I got so far alone.
