Sobre el papel, Othercide parece diseñado expresamente para mí: juego táctico por turnos con toques de roguelike. Perfecto. Exactamente lo que me gusta. Por si no fuese suficiente, sobre esta base mecánica añade una propuesta estética valiente y apabullante a partes iguales, con una ambientación y un diseño de enemigos genuinamente estremecedores. Por desgracia, aquí es donde van a empezar los peros. Toda la originalidad que derrochan los enemigos les falta a las misiones, que son mortalmente anodinas. No ayuda en absoluto que, por la propia estructura estilo roguelike del juego, haya que repetir muchas misiones, muchas veces. Cada nueva run, eso sí, para que no te des por vencido, Othercide te deja equiparte nuevas mejoras y boosts que hacen que la siguiente run sea un poco más sencilla. Puro grind del vago para un juego correcto que podría haber sido mucho mejor.

It's been a while since I played a fun turn-based tactical game. And here it is again. The tactical and RPG components are pretty good, the art style and music create a great atmosphere. The voice acting is decent. There are some small rough edges in technical part, game mechanic, I would like a higher difficulty settings, etc. but overall I am happy.

Quem gosta de jogos por turno com estoria maravilhosa pode comprar sem medo. A estética do jogo é linda, inimigos com desings sensacionais. Falta um pouco de variação nas roupas das "filhas", achei tudo muito igual, mas nada que desmereça o jogo. É um jogo denso, de atmosfera pesada, sombria. After the 50th tutorial box pop up I have to confirm I simply can't continue. It is mentally breaking me. This is active torture.
