Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Experience a gold mining process inspired by historical methods from the gold rush era.
Break rocks, collect ore, and separate gold from the soil using various tools and machines. Then smelt it into gold bars that you can sell at the bank.
During the game you will find different forms of gold:
gold dust
gold flakes
gold nuggets
Each type has a different value and requires the proper refining process. As you progress through the game, you will unlock better tools and mining techniques.
In the game you can discover and explore a total of 9 mines.
5 small mines for quick expeditions
3 medium mines with branching tunnels
1 large multi-level mine
Each mine has its own unique atmosphere and several to dozens of segments to discover.
Working in a mine is dangerous. If you do not place supports correctly, tunnels may collapse. Build reinforcement structures, expand your infrastructure, and explore deeper underground.
Your tools determine how fast and efficiently you can mine gold.
Create upgraded versions of your equipment and enhance them using rare materials and gemstones.
Possible upgrades include:
increased tool durability
faster resource extraction
ability to break harder rock
additional equipment upgrades
Thousands of people arrive in northern America in search of fortune. Most will return empty-handed. Only a few will make history. Maybe you will be one of them.
In Alaska Gold Fever you start as an ordinary gold prospector with simple tools and a big dream. Explore the wild lands of Alaska, mine gold, hunt, develop your businesses, and build an empire at the edge of 19th-century civilization.

The game offers:
a main storyline
side quests
hidden treasures
mysterious locations
Life in Alaska requires strategy and proper preparation.
Gather resources and craft useful items in different workshops such as:
tool workshop
carpentry workshop
fur workshop
campfire and kitchen
Preparing meals and resting provides bonuses that increase work efficiency, cold resistance, and character stamina.
The wild nature of Alaska is both a threat and a valuable source of resources.
By hunting animals you can obtain:
meat
hides
furs
hunting trophies
The quality of the materials you obtain depends on the weapon used and your hunting skills.
The deeper you venture into the Alaskan wilderness, the lower the temperature becomes.
To survive in the extreme climate you must:
wear warmer clothing
prepare proper meals
manage your energy and stamina
Lack of preparation can quickly end your expedition.
Gold mining is only the beginning. You can develop different ventures and build your own economic empire:
new mines
farms producing food and milk
a hotel for travelers and gold prospectors
Hire workers, manage production, and expand your enterprises.
The largest mines can be transformed into real enterprises.
Hire miners who will work for you and generate a steady income.
This allows you to focus on exploration, business development, and discovering new lands.

I am super impressed by this game. I normally do not play sims, but this is multiple sims inside an RPG. From resource and human management to development of your own town, hunting among many other survival elements. Not to mention I had an issue with a glitch causing a quest item not to show up in my inventory. I asked the discord for help and the developer promptly responded and got me my item back. Overall great game and great company.
They have all the wrong priorities in this game, runs ok needs alot of work and they are pumping out dlcs .

Really good game with a few issues. If you like grinding for resources and crafting then this game is ideal for you, really satisfies the lizard brain loop. yeah it stutters every now and then, some of the trails are hard to follow, the husky sled is terrible but none of these issues are game breaking, they are annoyances for sure but for the price these things can easily be overlooked. Its getting updated regularly and they're working on DLC's so it's one to keep an eye on. Definitely replayable, I'm on my second walkthrough, some games cost 3x as much for the hours I've got out of it. Wait for a sale then pick it up, well worth the money.
you should try to make this game multiplayer i feel like a 4 player co-op would be fun
YES
I don't write reviews very often, but after putting 62.3 hours into this game, earning 100% of the achievements, and mining out every single mine on the map, I felt like this one deserved it. Alaska Gold Fever was exactly the kind of game I was looking for. You arrive in town after your Uncle Ben passes away and leaves you his old hotel deep in the Alaskan Gold Rush frontier. From there, it's up to you to build your business empire while living the life of a prospector. If you're like me and enjoy relaxing, grindy games where you can gather resources for hours, this game absolutely delivers. I love chopping trees, mining ore, crafting, and especially anything involving gold mining. This game scratched every one of those itches. The mining loop is incredibly satisfying. You dig dirt, sift it for gold, iron, and magnesium, then clean and smelt your gold into bars to sell. Iron becomes a core crafting material for tools and buildings, while magnesium is used to repair and upgrade the highest-tier picks and axes. It all ties together really well and constantly gives you something to work toward. One thing I completely missed at the beginning—and I wish I had known sooner—is that you can repair your tools at the crafting stations. Open your inventory and press F on the tool in the left-hand window. Once I figured that out... it was game on. The business management was another huge highlight for me. You eventually own three different businesses, each with their own upgrades and progression: Your uncle's hotel, which you expand and improve. A goat farm that produces milk, leather, and meat for crafting, cooking, and selling. Once it's running, you'll never worry about leather again. A mine where you can hire workers to gather resources while you're off doing other things. For someone who enjoys gathering, farming, and slowly building up an operation, this progression felt incredibly rewarding. I almost didn't buy this game because of some of the reviews I had read beforehand, but my experience was almost the complete opposite. I didn't run into the performance issues others mentioned. If I noticed any frame drops at all, it was usually after leaving the game running for 10–12 hours straight, and a quick restart fixed it every time. The only real bug I encountered involved the dog sled. If you slammed into objects or drove over terrain it clearly wasn't meant to handle, the sled could slowly become tilted and look pretty strange. Thankfully, recalling the dogs to a dog house or simply returning to the main menu fixed it every time. At this point, my only complaint is that I've simply run out of things to do. I've finished everything the game currently has to offer, and that's honestly a good problem to have. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for the Bandits DLC and the moonshine update. Mining. Gold. Moonshine. What more could you ask for? Chef's kiss. If you enjoy relaxing resource gathering, crafting, management, and satisfying progression, I highly recommend giving this game a chance. It completely exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to jump back in when more content releases.
Alaska Gold Fever? More Like Alaska Gold Paracetamol! The fever got killed somewhere along the way as it seems.
Heyo Boys, Girls and Toasters, whatever tickles your fancy! Welcome back to another review and boyo, this game makes it really hard to like it. So buckle up and off we goooo! Alaska Gold Fever tries to tickle that itch to dig through dirt in order to become filthy rich thanks to those damn shiny Nugs. Does it scratch that itch? Meh... kinda but not really. You arrive at a small Diggertown in Alaska and take over your deceased whatevers Hotel. Yupp. The kinda harvest moon story we all know and love. For funsies, and because absolutely no one in that small vilage seems to like getting rich, the place is riddled with Goldmines, nobody uses. So you can feel free to plunder those to your likings in order to earn cash. Well, at least to try to earn cash with those. "But but El Monstro, it is about digging up dirt and panning for gold!!!" Nah, it is not. There are literally no dirtmechanics, no panning, no careful washing out the dirt, nothing. There is a pan but you use it by clicking on a sparkly spot, shaking it left and right a few times and magically Goldstuff appears into your backpack. No scooping up water, getting rid of murky water to see if there are nuggets, nothing. As for the digging... Pfff, its rare for me to dislike a digging game, but Alaska Gold Paracetamol really did it. You pop dirtbubbles. I kid you not. You pickaxe Dirtbubbles which create dirtpiles on the ground which you scoop up with a bucket and throw them in a dryrun seperator. No idea if that thing is historically accurate but it feels just wrong to me with several hundred hours in Gold Mining Simulator. The bubblepopping in the mines is boring as hell and it even made me fall asleep! So if you're ever having sleepproblems... Start Alaska Gold Melatonin and enjoy your sleep. "Hmkay... So is there anything else fun to this game?" Well, yes and no. They tried to implement some survival kinda stuff with hunting wild animals, cooking and buffs, the cooked food provides you. But those are all neglectable at best. In the end, after you can get tropies from the killed animals, killing those becomes more lucrative than popping bubbles in the mines. The Hotel you run is a steady, passive income, later you get a Farm too, another passive income, oh and a Mine, where you can hire up to three dudes, doing the Bubblepopping for you to add another kind of passive income. Although those three seem to smoke the whole day or something, as the amount of Gold they pop out is so miniscule, If you manage not to fall asleep while slaving away in one of the normal mines, you can get a buckload more gold from there than those three stooges. "This doesn't sound very fun...?" Mhm, yeah. Not to mention the steady running around, chopping down trees, so you can build anough tracks for your miningcart and supportbeams for the mine. The whole game feels rather tedious then enjoyable. So let's wrap this up:
Gameplay:
2 / 5 Stars. Boring, repetitive and doesn't feel rewarding for what you have to do.
Visuals:
3 / 5 Stars. It looks okayish, nothing too fancy or ugly.
Sound:
2 / 5 Stars. Pretty mediocre sounds. Mines don't really sound as if you're deep underground etc so more on the Meh side of things.
Bugs:
4 / 5 Stars. So far everything worked with a few minor Bugs like Rain getting shown in the Mines etc.
All in All: 3 / 5 Stars.
Would I recommend buying it? Yes, if it is in a sale. Is it a must-buy? Definitely NOT. If you're looking for something that can satisfy the itch to dig for Gold, Gold Mining Simulator ist King of the hill. Out of Ore is good too. But Alaska Gold Paracetamol? Nah. Grab it in a Sale, even if you take your time like me, you can 100% it within 20ish hours without feeling satisfied.
In diesem Sinne, habt Spaß 😊
So, after completing 100% of this game I can safely say that while fun, it has some issues. Firstly, and frankly the most glaring issue, is the performance issues. The stuttering is really annoying and can be bothersome. To combine with this, there is platforming sections in this game at certain points while you are digging. The stuttering makes these so annoying that I almost just quit out of frustration. There are only 3 pick axes in the game, and mining can get boring after a while. Also, there is a drill but it is useless. The pickaxe is much faster, and any time I was forced to use the drill I did not have fun at all. With guns, there were times when I was aiming directly at an animal and I would shoot and the hit would not register. I am talking about aiming dead center mass and nothing happens. It worries me about the upcoming dlc with its focus on guns and shooting. Some of the mines do not have purchase options making them not worth the effort of digging out. The roads on the map are pretty useless when they do not match what you actually experience while walking around. The dog sled is an absolute nightmare to control, and I just ignored it for the entire time I played. You have to purchase recipes for everything, and you cannot learn to craft something through experimenting. Food is mostly useless and can be ignored your entire playthrough. It can heal you and provide digging damage buffs, but again when your pickaxe can just oneshot all our unless minorly damaged (which you can very easily repair mid dig), the damage boost is useless. Overall, while I did somewhat enjoy the game, I cannot recommend it with the amount I found wrong with it.
Horrible optimization, half of mechanics aren't working properly, broken economic.
