Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Four-player Co-op
Deeper Progression Systems
Rogue-lite Build Options
Expanded level variety and vast outdoor fantasy environments
Spectacular physics and more ridiculous orc deaths
Visceral third-person shooter and melee combat

Enjoy the game solo or in co-op teams of up to four players – each option provides unique challenges and rewards. The game is designed to adjust to the number of players, ensuring a balanced and exciting contest in any combination.

Find your role among new War Mages, each with unique weapons, abilities, traps, and personality. Each hero is tailored to different play styles and can operate independently or work together with complementing heroes, ensuring versatile and mighty orc-smashing.

Face intensifying waves of orcs and other hideous beasts with randomized buffs and debuffs that impact your hero, traps, weapons, stats, and the levels themselves. Environmental factors like weather and time of day further influence enemies and your defensive options. As these buffs and debuffs stack, choose to push forward against the growing hordes or return to your castle hub to power up your hero, weapons, and traps before facing a formidable Orc General in a brutal boss fight.

Experience enhanced combat where the combination of heroic prowess and ingenious traps leads to unparalleled orc destruction. Engage in tighter, more responsive third-person shooter and melee combat. Enjoy crazier physics-based interactions and more ridiculous ragdoll effects. Watch with joy as your traps hurl, crush, slice, and incinerate orcs in spectacular fashion.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap stays true to the beloved humor, personality, and charm of the series. From witty orc chatter to over-the-top physics sending screaming orcs flying, and a strong guitar- and drum-heavy soundtrack, every moment is crafted to keep your adrenaline pumping.

Quite the fun roguelite version of OMD that you can play with more than 2 players. I do not understand why everyone was expecting OMD 4 from this one, hence why it is called Deathtrap and not 4.

disappointing, 30$ to have 4 "main" missions?? meanwhile omd 3 had 18
THEY NEED TO REBOOT ORCS MUST DIE AND ADD MORE FUN!!!
You cant even do endless alone it starts you out on difficulty 10 when 20 is the max, even with all my traps maxed out i could barely kill the enemies lol and when i finished the round i got hit with text box and text box for my health/mana on the menu what kinda half cooked game is this? devs dropped this thing and just left it coulda been a great entry but go play the one before this
this game is ok yet it could have been insane pls keep orcs must die franchise alive (and bring back unchained somehow) <3
I will start by saying that I have completed every single achievement in this game and am only 2 bonus thread tasks away from having nothing else to get so obviously I like the game. Having said that 3 was much better game to me than deathtrap, even though it barely had any content. While deathtrap multiplayer is much better and scales much better with difficulty levels. I really miss the intuitiveness of being able to look at individual trap type damage and having elements affect the orcs and ogres more. Previously damage types mattered a lot more than they do now and they used to track how well each trap type did so you could really pinpoint what worked best outside of just running combinations until you win "easier" which is how it is now. Overall deathtrap is a fun game that made party play much better imo. But is missing a lot of fun detailed features that previous orcs games had. I now plays when I'm bored or doing some game nights with a buddy, as I don't really have anything left to accomplish other than self pushing higher level skull tiers - I hope they start including some additional endgame achievements as I'm starting to stale out now that I've 100% them.
Really fun tower defense with roguelite mechanics. If you don't like roguelite then you're not gonna like this game. It's nice to see Robot Entertainment try something a little different from their usual formula. I miss OMD Unchained but this will suffice.
I will change this if the devs decide to show the game/players love. No announcement or anything on the anniversary day is WILD.
