Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really fun tower defense with roguelite mechanics. If you don't like roguelite then you're not gonna like this game. It's nice to see Robot Entertainment try something a little different from their usual formula. I miss OMD Unchained but this will suffice.
I have mixed feelings on OMDD, ultimately, I view it as a positive game, well worth the price or even moreso. You can tell the developers put a lot of time into it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have it's problems. Learning and progressing was a blast; But I will say it was quite difficult during the first few months solely because a lot of the maps seem to be oriented towards multiplayer. However, the team responded really well to the negative feedback and suggestions, and made major adjustments to the game. It's generally speaking, a great title for the $30 price tag. My only main issue with the game, is that once you reach max level/upgrades, the game does get a bit easy and then not long after, repetitive feeling. The first couple missions of a run will be a struggle as you get your threads, but not long after you're usually so overpowered you can just AFK through most of the waves. For perspectives sake, that's kinda the purpose of tower defense games, making a defense you can AFK behind, but eh, it doesn't capture the same vibe OMD3 had. Overall I'd give OMDD a 6.5/10. Well worth the $30, even more so if it's on sale. Solo, you might get 100 hours out of it. Maybe 200 if you're multiplayer and your group enjoys it.

Too buggy, too slow, too big maps serving no purpose. Terrible perforrmance for game with quite simple gfx. Giant step backwards comparing to previous games of the franchise.
Orcs Must Die! Orcs Must Die! Итого: Orcs Must Die!
Stay away, game hasnt had a update in months. Its sad, it has potential, I mean had. Loved the OMD games and this one was bad.
BRING BACK UNCHAINED
My Son just bought me a copy of this game for my Birthday. I know, cool Son, right? :-) We've been Orcs Must Die Fans from the beginning. We miss unchained terribly. But the reason I'm writing this review is because I've seen all the negative reviews on this game and honestly it is part of what made me hold off on pulling the trigger on the purchase. So I hope my review can help other see past that noise. First off, is this game Orcs Must Die 3? No, Deathtrap is it's own game. If you're disappointed that this game isn't Orc's Must Die 3, maybe you should play OMD3? This game is different than 3, just as 3 was different than 2. What a shocker. This game is fun, it's still the same idea and doesn't go way off the path of what the game is supposed to be. You set traps and make kill room. You still go for combos. There are new, interesting traps to play with, and a new system for upgrading them which is MUCH better than OMD3's upgrade system. New monsters, more characters to choose from, and boss fights! OMD3 didn't have you facing a boss every few maps. So the point of my review is to say, yes it's not OMD3, duh. It's Deathtrap, and it's fun. It has some differences in mechanics, but overall is still the same awesome game of placing traps, making kill rooms, building those combos, and watching Trolls explode into pieces! The negative reviews are mostly B.S. and this game is totally worth the purchase.
This game destroyed any hope I had for this franchise. I understand its a spinoff, but did anybody ask for any of this...? All the maps have FOUR (4) gate entrances that enemies come through. How is a solo player supposed to even manage this? And why does every single mission start with a debuff? In what world is it fun to play with worse stats and negative passive abilities? This doesn't add anything other than artificial difficulty and overall worse user experience. No linear campaign story missions. Every match is randomized with different debuff cards, like a dungeon crawler. They're called 'runs' in this game and its just 3 normal missions combined into 1. So one game takes an hour now...And if you have to leave halfway through you lose everything! I liked the original format not this crap. Maps are poorly designed with no features or characteristics that separate them from any other maps. You can tell a college kid who only plays call of duty and fortnite made these, and had absolutely no vision as to why these maps are being made in the first place. Every map from Orcs Must Die 3 is memorable, every map in this game is forgettable. Characters are the same. Boring copies of someone else's work. A talking fighting cat is nothing new. A domesticated shaman bear is nothing new. None of the weapons or abilities will blow your mind. Just generic standard firearms and melee weapons. Maybe next time try a tesla arc lightning gun, or a thunder gun, or a flamethrower, i don't know something that's actually fun, lol. The only positive thing I can say about this game is I like the main hub in the castle. Having to walk around and talk to NPCs to buy/upgrade traps is pretty cool. The tutorial is a joke tho. A cutscene and then just throwing you in the castle with no guidance whatsoever other than watch YouTube tutorials is just poor game design. Would it have really been that much effort to make a starting quest that introduces us to everybody in the castle and what they do...and how to actually start a mission. Little things like that reflect how little they actually care. For example the saw blade launcher no longer showing the projectile pathing. Why does Orcs Must Die 3, an older game, have the ability to show pathing of projectiles, but the newer game doesn't have that feature... Because they don't care.
Please stop abandoning OMD games a year after they launch 😭 give me my butterfly traps!!!! Come onnnn you were cooking with this one!!!
