Roll da ball type of game. Levels are ok and have plenty of variety. 7 worlds divided into 15 stages each. On flat surface orb transforms into running robot but otherwise than that game feels a bit boring to play.
I didn't like it much. Buy it only if you get it cheap, want to kill some time and you don't have anything else to do. PROS: - There are a few levels with bumpers that make you fly that are fun. - A few levels are fun to play, CONS: - Most levels are too easy or too hard (pure luck that you get a nice jump). - Running on robot mode is too slow and not fun at all. - On this game bouncing on walls to change direction is a pain in the ass. - Music is not too good (but not too bad either).
Pretty fun game! You can even play 2 players, you could even set it up as a race against your friend. Ir remind me of the animated Robots movie game. I don't know if you can call the puzzle part really a puzzle, except for that portal level
Orborun is a console-esque hybrid of 3D platformer and "marble roller" game as you roll a spherical robot down various high speed obstacle/race courses, collecting the good things, avoiding the bad things, and wondering why your PC doesn't say Xbox on it. It's not terrible, but it's not sticking out amongst a sea of average console-like games on Steam. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. PC gamers will be insulted by the presence of console peasant children's toy controller prompts, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this game was never accepted on the video game console appliances it seems to have been designed for. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Orborun is relatively cheap at Unknown Price , but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
Pros +60FPS +Multiplayer? Cons +Slow / vague controls +Terrible level design +Repetitive music +Broken scoring system +Bad camera +Bad checkpoint system +No motivation for continuing the game +Only left and right controls (no speed adjustment) +No collectible chart to see what is remaining +No achievements Frustrating is how I would describe Orborun. The level design is wanting me to be precise, but the controls are sluggish and vague and the physics are unpredictable. Your orb doesn’t make fast changes and just feels…off. The physics are seemingly random to how you orb reacts when it hits the ground. A lot of the time the game expects you to collect a chain of items right after a jump and it leads to many frustrating moments. Beyond landing, there is just something not predictable about the physics and you’ll be fighting it every second on every level. The first world Haste is decent and challenging enough. I started the Puzzle world and immediately am hit with extremely hard and confusing levels. Didn’t take but 30 seconds to quit out of that. Same thing with the Hazard world, incredibly difficult right off the bat. Nope, not worth being angry over. The camera system is poor. It’s way too close and moves around too much. Half the time my head was tilted to the side to try and correct for it. Music is very repetitive. Going in and out of robot mode (which seems random) is jarring and messes with your controls and momentum. Checkpoints are in the game, but they save your momentum and direction. So, it may save a certain angle of you flying over the edge each time, making you retry the whole level. The points you rack up in a level are not reset when you fall off the edge, so you can go through the same part multiple times to get a higher score which triggers getting 3 stars on a level. Not worth the $5.99 asking price. With all the negatives and hardly anything positive, I can’t recommend this game 3/10 Poor
just for pvp split screen!

Do gwiazd... Ostatecznie nawet pasuje do tego typu rozgrywki no i lepiej pozostawić włączoną niż grać w ciszy. Kolejny problem to kiepska czytelność.
Buttons were all screwed up until I enabled steam controller overrides and even though it was just passing through the default button assignments that fixed the problem. The game supports the analog stick but does not seem to have analog controls, so it's actually better to use keyboard or buttons. Some menus don't respond to controller buttons (even though they display the button prompts) so I had to revert to the mouse for some menus and to quit the game. Controls are unresponsive at times making the whole experience pretty hit and miss.
