In this case creeping around space station appears to be not so fun nor engaging.
When a corporation faces a delicate problem, how do think it solves it? And what if this problem isn't delicate anymore, but it's green, it slurps and it's eating people? Oh, don't hope for 'good' ending, you know what GIANT SPACE CORPORATIONS are like. The game is a funny puzle with black humour. You and your team land on various space objects and try to eliminate an alien threat. Officially. And unofficially you have some other objectives that are not written in your papers. You know what giant space corporations are like. Good luck, brave and gready mercenaries! 10/10 kreeps.
Operation KREEP is a game about a team of astronauts removing a dangerous and rapidly growing alien infestation from a space station. You can have up to four human/AI players using the same keyboard - but that may be tricky if you have four human players. The players ''win'' if they successfully wipe out the infestation. As the game opens though, the players are subjected to a message from a corporation promising money if they leave the infestation alive, and kill off their teammates. This creates a game-theory conundrum in which players can either work together to win, or go rogue for a big win at the detriment to the other players. Spoiler: noone ever wins though: cooperative teams go to prison for damaging the station. Rogue players are left to drift through space. Gameplay-wise, it's a bit like bomberman with guns instead of bombs. Move around with your arrow-key equivalent, shoot the kreep (or your teammates) by pressing the shoot button. The base game is a little dull to be honest - the kreep growth is balanced so well that a single player going rogue will almost inevitably result in Kreep overtaking the station, but a cooperative team will almost always overwhelm the kreep. This is easily remedied however, because the game has a number of ''mutators'' - alternate game settings. I recommend rockets and slow rockets - sure this makes it easier to kill the kreep, but that leaves more room for backstabbing shenanigans. If you're going to spend a few dollars on a desktop game, you could do worse.
Operation KREEP is a fun little action game. One of those that are best enjoyed on local multiplayer with friends. Gameplay: You play in several maps with either human players (locally) or with AI controlled ones. Your goal is to destroy the alien lifeform (the KREEP) before it swarms the level. In the process you fight against the other players as well. The levels have certain "mutators" which are toggle settings that add different elements to the game (eg rocker launchers instead of lasers). The game is simple, yet fun. Specially when you play with friends. Graphics: Retro style graphics. Nothing fancy here. Music/Sound Design: As with any self-respecting retro-style game, the music and sound effects are reminiscent of the 8bit era. Pros: -Simple but fun game. -Very fun local co-op -Funny story/writing. -Level mutators keep things interesting. Replayability value. Neutral: -Retro style graphics are not everyone's cup of tea. Cons: -The game is rather simple. Conclusion: Fun little action co-op game. Recommended, specially for playing with friends.
It's a really great concept. A four player fragger shoot em up, where you are also all facing an alien creeper which will very quickly take over the whole map unless you work together to take it out. Beating the kreep, ends the match. With friends, that can be a lot of fun, playing on your own, with the AI is ok, but the AI has no concept of working together, so it's less so. Lots of nice variety to spice matches up. If you want something different to play with friends, this is worth your money.
not worth the money.
This is a $3 game. It's a good $3 game, but don't be expecting a $10 game. $5 might be pushing it. This is meant to be a multiplayer party type game, locally, for 2-4 players. There is no story mode or campaign mode, other than a very simple tutorial. The plot 'ending' you see mentioned in some other reviews is a brief blurb you get at the end of a match depending on what happened. This isn't really a bad thing to me, but I just want people to know what they are getting in for. If you are just playing single player, you have to set at least one other player to AI and enjoy as many matches as you want. There's not much content here to be honest, although you can play around with different rules/mutations. It's kind of like Smash Bros in a way with all the different settings in the matches you can mess around with. This game has some potential for old school Bomberman style multiplayer fun, not that I've played it with anyone else yet though. I don't see this as something I'll spend much time with solo. It's just very simple and matches are over very quickly. Again, not the worst thing in the world, as quality shouldn't be determined by amount of time a game wastes. I will say it's refreshing to see just a humble game that's not trying to be more than it is, greedy with predatory loot boxes and microtransactions everywhere, this is just a normal game. That looks like it would be from 30 years ago.
Я не ♥♥♥ не понял как это запускать.
