Only One Burn

Surprisingly addicting and equal parts frustrating and entertaining, Only One Burn is an easy recommend for those of us who have enjoyed the likes of Kerbal Space Program but are in the mood for something a little less involved. You can play for a minute or an hour, running the gamut of landing sites on new planets or trying to beat your friends' high scores. Have a go for yourself and see how many runs it takes you to get that perfect landing.

-=ONLY ONE BURN=- Only One Burn is a nice little lander game! Remember those? Where you had to land your ship on a planet with limited fuel? ONLY ONE BURN brings back that old genre and put a twist over it. Instead of managing your fuel drop by drop until you land soflty, you will spend all your fuel in... well, only one burn. It will leave you with only your maneuvering thrusters so you can adjust your fall! Yeah, I said fall! You will not land gently on this game AT ALL! Your ship is made with an alloy of adamantium and mitrhil so, no matter how hard you crash on your base, it will not be destroyed. But only if you hit your landing pad. If you miss, you will meet something harder than your ship. The game is very good and well made. You see those two hours in my play time? Yeah, I installed the game while I was finishing rendering a image for my work and started playing it. Two hours later my image was rendered and I left my client wainting for it... that is the kind of game ONLY ONE BURN is! I will return to this game later today because I need to finish it. Technical side of things: Game is running on UE4, the graphics are simple but works nicely with the art style. There´s no music, only the sound of your ship´s thrusters, alarms and your constant failure. But this is not really the kind of game that you play for the soundtrack, let´s be honest here. No crashes found, but two or three times my landpad turned into bouncing bed and skyrocket my rocket to the stars! (Not what you want in this game). I can recomend this game for everyone looking for some fun time! The leaderboard is a great adittion for those who want some fierce competition with friends! Great game!! Buy it now!!!!

Only One Burn is a strategy game where you need to land a lunar lander on a platform. However, the challenge comes from only having the ability to use one main thrust before running out of fuel. You still have small thrusters on the on the left and right side to adjust direction. When your landing you want to try and land as softly and as close to the center as possible for the best score. This game was a lot of fun to play and the puzzles were fun to solve. While some of the levels were challenging none of them felt unfair and the environments were beautiful and well-made. This game featured several small details that I appreciated like when you crash the shuttle the control panel being destroyed and playing the funeral bagpipes music. Overall it was a fun game to play and I highly recommend

It sucks. I felt ripped off at a buck twenty-five. It's a lazy excuse for a game. It was a steam recommendation because I like Kerbal. What a crap recommendation. It's got nothing in common with Kerbal.

Passe le temps, bien fait, mais répétitif.

Very fun game! You try to land a space rocket and try to land it on this challenging, but fun platform. I love the game already and, if your interested in a good sc-fi, indie, space landing, engineering, and space type of game, get it and you will see for yourself! Plus, these guys are two single devs, so if you want to support single deve, and like the game style, get it! I rate 9/10 overall for this game, and it has just been released September 2nd!
