Onion Force

Checked out Onion Force because they gave me a code to look at it. It's a pretty basic Tower Defense game mixed with RPG aspects. Not really my type of game, and there seemed to be some bugs with the controls. Several times in the 30 minutes I played, my character went in the wrong direction, or just off the screen. In additoin, gameplay is very confusing, with no real tutorial or anything. I do like the fact that you can choose between fighter, bowman, and wizard... and each levels up the more you use them. However, I could not get past the 3rd area because controls were wacked out. Maybe if I was playing on console or with a controller, it would have been better. If they could fix the bugs with the controls and elaborate some more on the gameplay with some instruction, this could be an okay game. But until then, I cannot recommend it.

I was going through my list of games and remembered I played Onion Force right when it came out. Checked the store page just to see if there were any updates or news. I can't believe this game has so few reviews. THIS IS A SUPER FUN TOWER DEFENSE GAME AND YOU SHOULD SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS FOR THEIR CREATIVE FUN TWIST ON THE TD GENRE. I hope they make a sequel. THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW.

Горе луковое, ой в смысле сила. Мы дадим врагам всем проплакаться. Стоит сказать игра была куплена за 20 рублей. И это тот случай когда разработчики за свою работу запрашивают символическую плату. Продукт сделан в жанре ТД, где вы еще плюс к башням бегаете героем и помогаете убивать монстров. На ваш выбор даются три героя: воин, маг, лучник. Герои имеют уровни прокачки, с каждым уровнем улучшаются и характеристики. После смерти мага, выбираем война, потом лучника и т.д по кругу, если они будут успевать восстанавливаться. Каждого героя можно эквипать оружием, которое вы выбиваете в процессе прохождения уровней. Три сложности каждого уровня. Улучшение башен присутствует, за счет звездочек с уровней. Умения покупаете за счет лучинок, которые выбили в уровне. Единственный минус, а может просто я не разобрался за 3 часа- это как направлять атаки у лукаря и мага. Это что касается по геймплэю. Графика нарисована добротно. Глаза ни разу не режет. Игра не фризит не тупит, да и откуда здесь им взяться. Соотношение цена/качество 9 репчатых лучинок из 10 Играем,кайфуем,крафтим значки.

Onion Force, tower defense con heroes En Onion Force, nuestra aventura comienza con 3 heroes, un guerrero, un arquero y un hechicero. Solo podemos usar uno por vez, y si muere podemos elegir a otro heroe, mientras tanto los heroes muertos se recuperan en unos segundos y podremos elegirlo cuando muera el heroe con el que jugamos. Suena complicado pero es simple, de hecho el juego empieza complicado pero pronto le agarras la mano. A todo esto, deberemos proteger a nuestro rey que se oculta en una mini fortaleza hecha con piedras. En el aspecto de defensa, podemos construir lo de siempre, por ej, las torres que le disparan a nuestros enemigos. Tanto nuestros heroes como las torres las podemos ir mejorando y subiendo de nivel. Las mejoras las compras con estrellas y los powerups los compramos con cebolas. Jugabilidad, ciertamente es regular, de los 3 heroes, el mago y el arquero son díficiles de controlar porque no vemos con claridad el puntero del mouse, si te vas a los extremos de la pantalla o tiene dos monitores se sale del juego. No pude hacer funcionar el gamepad, asi que solo pude jugarlo con mouse donde con click izquierdo disparas y click derecho corre. El juego tiene un mini tutorial pero los textos pasan tan rápido que apenas lo puedes leer. La música la quite porque es insoportable. El sonido es muy pobre, pero en este género parece destacarse el poco uso que le dan al sonido. Los gráficos, están bien, pero las resoluciónes y modos de pantallas son malos. Conclusión: La jugabilidad es un factor determinante, al principio puede ser irritante, aunque puedes acostumbrarte y divertirte un rato. En steam solo me dejan calificar el juego con pulgar arriba o pulgar abajo... el juego no se merece ninguna de las dos calificaciones, es decir, es un regular, un 5/10 diríamos. Te diría que lo compres si lo consigues muy barato, por centavos y si eres un adicto al género tower defense. De lo contrario, si eres un jugador casual, hay mejores opciones. Couldn't find anything wrong to write a hateful review about it, so it's ok I guess.

After playing for a while I decided to write a review about this game! Now once I got this game I didnt "expect" a lot from it considering it was a tower defense game, but boy was I wrong! Once I downloaded the game I had the time of my life! First of all its not one of these boring tower defense games, you also need to fight! Animations are smooths, fps is good only thing that isnt the best is that you cant go full screen but it doesnt matter. The game has good music, and AWESOME gameplay. It is really fun for its price which is 5 euros, you may think that: "That is waaaay too much for a tower defense game.", and boy are you wrong. I was on steam for the last 4 years (had other account) and I never didnt find this good of a 5 euro game. All of the games that are really big are over 20 euros which is ok but you have more fun here then probably on that game! I dont understand why its a small game but I hope it will grow over time! So yeah I would DEFFINATELY recooment this game even if you are not a "Tower Defense" fan! I will give this game a 9.1 / 10

Grate artwork style... But to be honest I always forget that this is even in my library, so yeah that's a problem. Believe me I do want to appreciate this game.
