I feel rugpulled from the original trailer vs what we got now. If you dont know, look up polybricks trailer on youtube and the one from months ago is MUCH different from what we got now. It was advertised as like youre a guy building sets in your lil bedroom, you got an instruction book to follow along, and then display them on a shelf, even allowing you to build custom sets, play with friends, and build sets submitted by the community. What we were given is im a sweatshop employee assembling toys to be submitted and sold on temu overseas. VERY disappointed with what was actually given. Ive been excited for months, having this in my wishlist for like 10 months just to be given this. Its not a crazy price for what was provided and it does run smooth but its like wishlisting gta6 and being giving big rigs racing
I REALLY like this game, however some of these bugs are unacceptable and complete showstoppers. There are times where I scan my work in progress set, and it says something is wrong, I do nothing and scan it again, and it says its all good. This is annoying, but not bad. However, the clocktower. I swear that clocktower. It is BROKEN, there is even a guide showing how horribly it is broken. There are 8 IDENTICAL parts, but they HAVE to go on the clocktower in a SPECIFIC ORDER for it to count as good. I dont know what datastructure you are using but this tells me something horrific has gone wrong under the hood, EDIT: You know what, let me add some more constructive criticism. 1)Add some way to highlight loose parts. Some parts are REALLY small and get lost easily. 2)Make the grid on white parts black. As it is now, correctly positioning something on a white base is impossible because I cant see how many grid squares im supposed to put it away on the display. 3)When detaching a part, please consider how it was attached in the first place. If I build the entire body of the gnome, and then attach the head, to the body, removing the body should take the head, arms, and body off of the legs, but as it is now, the body comes out, and spills the head and the arms off to the side. It should consider HOW they were attached when figuring out how to take it off. I will happily change my review once at the VERY least, the weird validator is fixed AND atleast 2 of 3 of my later gripes are handled. I love the game, but am very disappointed.

Clunky controls, campaign mode is rather flat and boring, and worst of all, not even a shred of music! It feels more like an Early Access game, or even a tech demo, than an actual game. Even for the cheap price, it's just flat and boring, and doesn't even have Steam Workshop support yet, which maybe could've amped up the sandbox aspects enough to make up for the rest of the game. The cozy relaxing aspect might be better if I could actually relax when playing. But wrestling the unwieldy controls takes enough of my focus that it leaves little room for relaxation. Maybe this gets better if you play more, as I have admittedly not played for all that long due to already getting bored multiple times and quitting. The vibe is also completely killed by the lack of music. Pure silence makes it feel almost eerie, and defintiely flat. I wasn't exactly expecting a full soundtrack like Poly Bridge for a game this price and so small in scope, but having *none* is almost insulting. Building the sets is boring. Building the sets faster is frustrating and not even all too much more entertaining. I like the concept of the game, but I don't recommend it at all in its current state.
I really like this game. I wish there were more models, but I can already tell I am going to sink absolutely too much time into the sandbox mode. Can't wait for the workshop!
Great game. Overall I would say its very fun and relaxing. Please add more puzzles Areas of improvement would be controls mainly regarding the screen. it feels odd zooming in and out to be able to see things and panning the screen is very slow. Another addition I think is needed is the ability to lock pieces. sometimes you may find pieces are misplaced or misaligned and you can break your entire structure trying to fix it. it would be nice to lock the pieces you know are correct to be done.
Really simple premise, you build stuff very similarly to building a lego model, the camera can be a bit wonky and sometimes its a bit difficult to get a piece to go where you want to place it but in general it's really well executed, it's well worth the price, it's fun and simple. Some things to note: The entire blueprint model can be moved around and turned 360 degrees. it can be pulled appart to more clearly show how things are attached and show you things from different angles, the area underneath the blueprint display is used for this and it's never clearly stated that you can do this and it's more or less mandatory for the mid/later models, please play around with the blueprint display for a while until you figure out how it works, its fairly simple just never stated before you start playing. (You will figure it out in a minute by just interacting with the entire frontside of the monitor and its buttons/areas)
The game is great for a 1.0 version, I loved it but there are some negative points: 1.- The Lack of content (I know this game is just released so I wont criticize for it but I really hope they add more content soon) 2.- The hitbox, I almost gave up with the fire truck if I didn´t discover a little trick to put the semicircular pieces together, so I think it´s super important that you guys fix the hitbox of the objects, because instead of relacing the game becomes frustrating. 3.- The optimization of the game, it went good on my PC but I could saw a few lag moments, like when you print the data card and put it inside the little machine. 4.- The lack of music, I personally liked it because I watched other things while playing, but a game of this type really needs some kind of ambient music and not only that sounds that reminds me the backrooms. Overall a good game I really want to see how they update the game, I think the workshop add will be a huge one, but it shouldn´t be the main provider of content for the game, the game has its bugs, good and bad points but I´ll give it a solid 7/10
A small cozy block building game. If you do enjoy building LEGO sets, you will also enjoy this game. Doesn't have much sets, but since mid of June, there is integration with Steam Workshop which does allow you to spend some extra hours in this game.
the concept sounded so great, but couldn't even get past the tutorial due to bugs when adjusting visual settings :( softlocked the game even when i reinstalled. thus, refunded. launch week bugs on my lower-end device, just my luck (though it may have been fixed at this point, i don't know)
