My favorite tower defense franchise, this one is just as good as the others, but if i had to give a order 2 > 1 > 3, defintely play the first game and second before this, but it's great even if you don't. game isn't that hard and it's fun

Origins is my favorite of the Kingdom Rush games and is still really fun 8 years after it came out. It takes what was really good about the previous two games and continued that same formula, just with an elven aesthetic instead which I think was done very well. The towers and heroes in this game are really fun, though I do think certain towers are just so much better than their counterparts that it makes it kind of pointless to get them in the vast majority of circumstances. Same goes for heroes, with some heroes just being so much better than other ones. Reading the other reviews, I'm extremely surprised to find that people think this game is the hardest kingdom rush game. I actually found that it was the total opposite, with this game being way easier than Frontiers and the original. The towers you get access to are so strong, and I beat the game on impossible with very little effort and just basic micro skills. Like the other games, it isn't very long and feels like its the perfect length with it only taking me 28 hours to 100% it. There are some minor issues I have with this game though. The third and final world of the game feels very empty, and is just badly outclassed by the first two worlds. It feels sort of like it was just thrown in there just to finish the game and not much thought was really put into it, which is something I remember Frontiers also having an issue with. Same can be said for the side campaigns as well. They are massively outclassed by the side campaigns in the original game and frontiers. feeling very generic and uninspired like they were kinda just thrown in there to extend playtime. Speaking of playtime, some of the achievements in this game were purposely designed to just extend playtime. No interesting challenge or anything, just purely designed to make you play specific levels 7 or 8 times just to kill enough enemies to get an achievement. These complaints aren't very major though, and are massively dwarfed by everything fun about this game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys tower defense games. It's very easy, plays really well, and has a great aesthetic that looks wonderful. Very fun.
Samo se ne treba fokusirati na ačivmente ._.
3rd best game of the series on my opinion. Levels are good, but there are times when level feels unbeatable and then next level is the easiest thing of my life. Definitely has the best design and drawing out of the series. Bandersnatch is a nightmare!!!! Also includes the pre-story of the first 2 games which is pretty cool. Overall great nostalgia, gameplay and all of the other conflict 10/10.
