Omen of Sorrow

Hmm I have very mixed opinions on this game.. As of now this game has been on Epic Game Store for about 2 to 3 years.. When it launched it had a story mode.. For whatever reason the devs took it out of the game and said that they would replace it with a better story mode and to just wait.. Well 2 years go by and they rereleased this game on Steam and consoles with a whole bunch of fun things like story mode, arcade endings, improved gameplay and i think more unlocks. One of the people said it best Epic was the beta testers and Steam got the final version.. As far as I know this game has not been updated for Epic games store, so people who owned the game on that store don't get all this new content and have to buy the game all over again on steam or console to get it again.. Now to the game review.. The graphics are very nice and each character looks cool and unique in their own way.. The fighting system is very cool you have this thing where when you attack and hit the opponent you have a chance to regain health back and so do they so the game encourages you to be very aggressive.. The fighting system is very complex and easy to pick up but hard to master.. The new added story mode and endings to arcade mode is epic and I have been waiting for it for 2 years.. I enjoyed the story mode and am still trying to get all the endings.. The game is really fun for people who like terrordrome 2 or mk games, even fun for people who like darkstallkers and such.. The only thing i think they did that made the game a bit meh compared to epic version is i think they did some things with graphics that made them look a bit more worse then the epic version.. But this is the best version to have by far as it has story modes and bunches of things added.. I would say the game is complete enough now to get it and be happy with what you got.. For the devs i would love to see more dlc characters as well as the supermoves actually killing the opponent on the final hit, maybe some blood spatters out and on the screen and they stop breathing at least..

Okay-ish indie fighting game. Controls and combos are a bit clunky, but thats already expected from an indie title. The roster of characters are supposed to be based on horror movie themes like werewolves, vampires, Frankenstein and shіt, but some chars are basically rіp offs of other games like Sabre Wulf and Kan-Ra from Killer Instinct or Hilda from Under Night In Birth. Some chars are actually more original and fun however, like the Countess Elizabeth Bathory that is a vampire thats basically a puppeteer type of char, controling a dragon made of blood to attack her enemies. Pretty cool. Theres also a Succubus demon woman that is basically useless when shes on the ground but becomes pretty powerful when she takes flight or is in the air, gaining access to a lot of combo strings and command grabs. Сначала минусы: - Мало персонажей - Скудные приемы - Пустой онлайн - Короткий Аркадный режим - Цена: 750 (со скидкой 600р) - не стоит таких денег - Саундтрек - Сюжетного режима нет Плюсы: - Дизайн персонажей Итог: Игра мертва, статистика, продажи и пару обзоров говорят за себя. Она еще была экзом год в ЕГС. Она там не взлетела. Попытались в стиме и тоже провал. Брать ее только с очень большой скидкой. Ей цена максимум 200-300р Оформил Рефанд (на 600р можно купить игры по лучше) Играйте только в хорошие игры.

Nice Idea badly executed. No connection to characters, minimal combos, few moves and specials. Not worth even on 3 dollars sale.

The biggest issue with this game is that its absolutely unbalanced. Every character individualy is fun to play, each of them have unique mechanic. But they dont work properly together in any way, you cannot allow your characters to be unbalanced while having that small character-roster. Do not want to recommend this game just because of that.

A fun fighting game from an indie developer. The game's been out for a couple of years on the Epic game store, but this version has an added story mode and endings for arcade mode. The character play-styles are varied and interesting, with the Universal monster aesthetic being a great one for those of us who wish for a new Killer Instinct or Darkstalkers. I did come across a few instances of stuttering at times in the game, especially during/after super attacks. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have an online community and finding matches was all but impossible for me. Keep that in mind when purchasing unless you have friends to play offline or enjoy solo play through the single-player modes.

An Indie Fighting Game for the fans of Killer Instinct, Darkstalkers, and Terrordrome. The game has this early 2000's action horror vibe akin to the likes of the Underworld series, Van Helsing, and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. No microtransaction bs or pay to win hack frauds, just good old fashion talent and answer. Would love to see more from this promising game.

Omg, this game is not even remotely fun! I‘m not a god in fighting games but i played sf4 and sf5 a lot online. I have my fair share of experience with fighting games but this game made me flip. I almost broke my controller. Omen of sorrow tries to imitate killer instinct and mortal kombat but it fails. The graphics suck, the music is awful, the voices are crap. If you dont have a buddy to play with you are stuck with arcade mode and the story mode which is the worst part of this game since there ls no story at all. Just random cutscenes with characters talk crap. I could have endured the crappy design but i can’t take this gameplay anymore. Some Characters are so damn useless (dr hyde or asstrocius). It’s almost impossible to beat the cpu. At the end the enemy starts to spam so hard distant attacks and you fight with dr hyde who drinks potions all the time doesnt matter what button you press. I used cheap tricks to beat the faster guys. I dont want to learn all characters to beat the story. I don’t have times for this. Although there is cross play noone is playing this crap game online. So you will never learn this game by fighting human opponents. You will also never earn all achievements. Some of the achievements are rediculous like playing this crappy game for 60h. I don’t even play good games for that long so how do the devs think i‘m going to waste my precious time with this pile of crap. This game should have never exist.
