Simple boxing arcade game. Would be a funny party drinking game to have with friends.

Olson's Boxing Challenge — бокс казуальненький. Простенький бокс с видом сверху. Управление на клавиатуре донельзя кривое и неудобное, опять заставляют переходить на геймпад. Бойцы и в целом визуал невзрачный. Музло чутка раздражает. Режимов несколько, хотя не сказать чтобы они были прям сильно отличны. В общем видно, что продукт любительский. [b] Olson's Boxing Challenge [/b] So nach 2h und einigen Kämpfe schreib ich mal einen Review. Olson's Boxing Challenge ist ein kleines Spiel mit nicht viel reichweite, aber es ist dennoch meiner Meinung nach ein sehr gelungenes Spiel. Und warum zeig ich euch jetzt. Aber erstmal zur Gliederung. Ich gliedere in den folgenden Bereichen (Einleitung, Grafik, Positives, Negatives, Zusammenfassung) [h1] Einleitung [/h1] Olson's Boxing Challenge ist eine Art Box-Simulator. Des Ziel des Spieles ist ganz einfach: Klopp deinen Gegner K.O. Das Spiel hat siebenverschiedene Spielmodus (Chaos, Barebones, Arcade Mode, Ice Skates, Flame Thrower, Aldo K.O., Shrinker). Man kann Olson's Boxing Challenge mit Controller und Tastatur spielen. Da ich selber in einem Verein Boxe bin ich immer für solche spiele offen und finde dises Spiel gut. Aber nun weiter zur Grafik. [h1] Grafik [/h1] Zur Grafik gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Das Spiel spielt man von der Vogelperspektive und die Gestaltung der Spielwelt ist ausreichend für so eine Art Spiel. Die Animationen des boxens wurden selbst gedreht, also da hat einer ein paar Schläge gemacht und die wurden in das Spiel eingefügt. [h1] Positives [/h1] - Updates - Animationen - viele Spielmodis - Preis - hoher Spielspaß - Suchtfaktor - mit Controller sowie mit Tastatur spielbar - Mehrspieler [h1] Negatives [/h1] - wenig Inhalt - wenige Spielzeit - ein Spiel für Zwischendurch (nicht dauerhaft) spielbar [h1] Zusammenfassung [/h1] Für den Preis bietet das Spiel eine menge Zeit und ist super zum Zeitvertreiben oder zum "Zwischendurch". Ich bin von dem Spiel begeistert und kann es nur weiterempfehlen, die sich ab und zu mal kloppen wollen ;D. I can see where they were coming from when making this game. A party based version of top down arcade stylefighters from the passed, however the actual exceution lacks the neccesary polish. I tried the bare bones mode and two of the power up based modes. The entire time I was more focused on the odd slowness of the controls that doesnt really fit the kind of party gameplay they were going for. It has lots of potential and I commend them for their first game. However i simply can't recommend the game as I didn't really have fun. With a bit more polish however this could really become something.

Fun, albeit simple couch versus game that will give you a few laughs. That is, until you hit Aldo K.O. mode which is the games most strongest and most fun mode. Was not offered compensation for writing this review.[/b] There's not much content that you only need to play it for like 10-15 minutes to get the general idea of it. I see potential in this game, even if it's very rookie made. There are different modes to play: Normal (Barebones), flame fists, ring is made of ice, quick-fast KO (about 3 hits and you're done), and a mode that is a randomizer in 10 second intervals for all modes. First to three (except in challenge mode) wins; be nice if you could adjust that to a higher number) Multiplayer is local only and some streamers/youtubers may have some fun with this as filler content or have some contest. I only played with a keyboard and... they're VERY AWKWARD. You move with WASD, punch with QE, and block with Spacebar. You'll need twos hands for keyboard to play this game. You are not able to customize controls, but you can switch between keyboard and controller. (Even the game highly recommends controller and I have to agree, but I don't know what the controls are for that so... be prepared!) It's not bad for a $1 game. Again I see potential in this and hope the developer puts more content into it or makes a sequal later down the road. This is more of a time-waster game than anything. Side note: The game asks for 2.2 ghz, however I run a computer that has 2.27 ghz and wasn't even close to that! A throwback brawler that gives you 7 game modes and hours of fun! Especially if you have a friend to play with. It's a lot of fun and you're supporting a developer that's giving it his best shot. What more could you ask for really?

I think the game CAN be good but right now it's not. The game lacks a better visual approach, the "real fighters" image are really not good, The UI is kinda mess, I think it could be more direct. And even the gameplay itself needs more user communication/visual response, I don`t now when I hit, I don't know when I get hit. Its too soft. BUT, you can still like the game and for the price, lets be real, we can't ask THAT much. If you are into boxing, maybe the game can be more attractive.
