Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've been playing this game for, like, 20 years now. The first maybe 30% of the game is a bit slow and feels like a really long prologue. But AFTER you beat the first BIG boss, the rest of the game is my favorite part lol. I feel like a lot of people stop playing too soon and don't get to experience the best parts. If you just do the story, the difficulty is pretty easy. It's when you try and 100% the game, or look for secrets in general, where the game can get pretty difficult. So it's great if you want either a relaxing time or a challenge. The story is great, the graphics are unique, the game is just beautiful even back in PS2 days. Definitely my favorite game of all time.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Beautiful and unique, I enjoyed the story.
毋庸置疑的艺术品
I've always been a fan of this game, as it's been among my top three favorite games I've ever played. Maybe it's nostalgia from when I was an early gamer as a kid in the late 2000s, but even still this game is a masterpiece. From the beautiful art style, the soundtrack, the blend of Japanese mythology and the creators' own touches... it's great. I will forever recommend for people to play it due to its ease of playability for anyone new, and how it'll draw you in with ease. Definitely looking forward to the supposed sequel, though I know it won't compare to the original. 10/10: Hands down my favorite game of all time, and I thank the creators of this gem from twenty years ago for birthing my love for gaming and Japanese mythology with this experience of a lifetime. I wish I could wipe my memory to play it all over again like I did all those years ago.
DONT BU Y THIS GAME
This is one of the two Capcom games I have been insane enough about to 100% TWICE (the other being Ghost Trick). I 100%ed it twice on the switch, and I 99.8%ed on the original PS2 (if you've played the og version, you know EXACTLY what that 0.2% is). The controls are satisfying, the writing is charming and fun, the story is a great little smorgasboard of Japanese folklore references and the art style had aged INCREDIBLY well and STILL looks great, it's one of those games I keep coming back to over and over to replay, just cuz it's so satisfying to control and look at. Then again, I've played this game since I was 15 or so, and it's formed how I interacted with video games /since/ then, so I may be slightly biased lmao. My only complaint is that sometimes my 3rd party controller can get really odd with the button mapping. (Which I have to remap to PS2 controls because that's what I'm used to.) It only uses my saved button mapping if the controller is connected wirelessly. If I plug it in, it defaults to Xbox controls. A very odd and irritating quirk, but not a dealbreaker.
Probably my favorite game of all time, not necessarily because it does everything perfectly, more so because of the feeling i get when i play it, the story is interesting and well written and the graphics are beautiful and very reminiscent of old japan. I love this game, im really excited for the sequel.
Really dated. I think this game deserves to be split into 3 reviews. The art is amazing, the story is fine, but the gameplay has me bored out of my mind. I think I would re-attempt this if it ever got a remake/sequel. Main complaints: Dialogue: - Same ol' fantasy tropes (fake hero / braindead mc / pervert side-character) - Pixie sidekick is super annoying - Can't fast forward text during some cutscenes (leads to LONG stretches of nothing) Gameplay: - Basic cookie cutter ARPG, easy difficulty - Gameplay focused around drawing, but perspective and camera controls makes it rough - Lots of running back and forth to inflate gameplay I could power through the game if the gameplay was a bit better but its so dated that I don't have a good reason to, especially since I didn't play this as a kid so no nostalgia
Nota: 9,0.
