Short game perfect for making you laugh and scare you at the same time.
OH DEMON! Fix my TV feels like the kind of horror game that was designed specifically to make players uncomfortable, confused, and entertained at the same time. Instead of following a predictable structure filled with standard jump scares and generic haunted locations, the game embraces complete absurdity and transforms it into something surprisingly memorable. The story begins with an intentionally ridiculous premise involving a demon summoned to repair a broken television, but the deeper players travel into the experience, the more unsettling and surreal everything becomes. What initially feels like a joke slowly evolves into a strange psychological descent filled with disturbing imagery, bizarre characters, and environments that constantly feel disconnected from reality. The game’s willingness to fully commit to its chaotic tone is what immediately separates it from many other indie horror titles. One of the most impressive things about the game is its atmosphere. From the beginning, there is a constant sense that something is wrong with the world around you. Hallways stretch unnaturally, strange creatures appear without warning, and environments seem to shift in impossible ways. The game does a great job of creating tension not only through enemy encounters, but also through uncertainty. Players rarely feel completely safe because the game constantly changes its pacing and visual style. Some moments are quiet and eerie while others suddenly explode into loud, frantic chaos. This unpredictability keeps the experience engaging because players never fully know what kind of sequence is waiting around the next corner. The visual presentation deserves a lot of credit for making the world feel unique. Rather than aiming for realistic horror, the game focuses on surreal and exaggerated imagery that feels closer to a nightmare than a traditional ghost story. Lighting effects, distorted environments, and strange visual details give the entire experience an unsettling identity. Certain areas genuinely feel oppressive because of how creatively the developers use darkness and environmental design. Even simple rooms often contain strange objects or visual clues that contribute to the overall discomfort. The game constantly feels visually active, which helps maintain immersion throughout the journey. Another standout mechanic is the way the game encourages players to interact with the environment through observation. Instead of relying entirely on straightforward puzzles, many sections require players to carefully study their surroundings, focus on symbols, or manipulate objects by looking at them in specific ways. This mechanic adds an interesting layer to exploration because players become far more attentive to visual details. It also creates tension during dangerous encounters because players are forced to remain observant while dealing with threats at the same time. The concept is creative and gives the gameplay more personality than many indie horror games that rely only on hiding or running mechanics. The sound design also contributes heavily to the experience. Strange background noises, distorted voices, sudden sound effects, and eerie ambient music all work together to create a feeling of constant unease. The game knows when to stay quiet and when to overwhelm the player with noise, which helps many scenes feel genuinely intense. Chase sequences become especially stressful because of how aggressively the music and sound effects escalate during pursuit. Voice acting is exaggerated and bizarre in a way that fits the surreal tone perfectly, adding both humor and discomfort to character interactions. The audio direction overall feels carefully crafted and helps the game maintain its strange identity from beginning to end. The humor is another major reason the game stands out. While many horror games focus entirely on fear, OH DEMON! Fix my TV constantly mixes comedy into its darker moments. Some scenes feel intentionally awkward or ridiculous, almost like the game wants players to laugh while simultaneously feeling disturbed. This balance between horror and absurdity gives the experience a unique charm. The jokes will not work for everyone, especially players who prefer serious horror narratives, but those who enjoy surreal internet-style humor and chaotic storytelling will likely appreciate the game’s personality. It never feels afraid to be weird, and that confidence becomes part of its appeal. Gameplay can occasionally become frustrating, however. Certain chase sequences rely heavily on trial and error, which can make repeated deaths irritating instead of scary. Some enemy encounters happen so suddenly that players may fail before fully understanding what they were supposed to do. The game’s surreal environments also sometimes create navigation problems, making objectives difficult to locate in larger areas. Technical issues such as frame drops or inconsistent performance can occasionally interrupt the immersion as well, especially during more visually intense scenes. These flaws do not ruin the experience, but they do prevent the game from feeling as polished as it could have been. Despite these issues, the game succeeds because it leaves an impression. Many indie horror titles are forgotten quickly because they rely too heavily on familiar ideas, but OH DEMON! Fix my TV feels genuinely distinct. Its strange humor, creative mechanics, surreal environments, and chaotic storytelling give it an identity that is difficult to confuse with anything else. Even when the gameplay stumbles, the atmosphere and creativity keep pushing the player forward out of curiosity alone. For players looking for a conventional horror experience, the game may feel too bizarre and experimental. However, fans of surreal indie projects, psychological horror, and unusual storytelling will likely find a lot to enjoy here. It is messy at times, occasionally frustrating, and intentionally strange, but those qualities are also what make it memorable. The game feels like a passionate creative experiment that fully embraces its weird ideas instead of trying to appeal to everyone, and that uniqueness gives it far more personality than many larger horror releases. Rating: 8/10
Menuda mierda. Me encanta!!!
Being chased all the time ruins the game for me, the game would otherwise be good its just really frustrating to have something chasing you all the time for no reason, also the sensibility is weird but thats not that big of a deal.
Played with company, it was very fun moment
Juego de MIERDA. Totalmente dentro de mis expectativas. 10/10
