The game really needs a lot of work to even be considered near the same league as something like Disc Golf Valley VR. The only real advantage here is multiplayer. But, that's not enough to overcome the unappealing appearance and poor/inconsistent physics. The developers are working on the game, and seem to be active on discord. So, that's a big plus over Disc Golf Valley VR. But the physics, graphics, and sound design just aren't on the same level. The devs are eager to help you with your form, but IMO I shouldn't need help. I have over 100 aces in DGV VR and have been playing disc golf IRL for 13 years. The game physics should feel natural, but they don't. I've "pitched" a putter and gone farther than actually throwing it. I've thrown the same disc twice, with almost identical form, and had a 200+ ft difference in distance. I appreciate the devs willingness to work on the game, but I just think it has a long way to go to hit that sweet spot between IRL and video game. Disc Golf Valley VR is better in every way, minus the fact the dev team halted work on it and there is no multiplayer.
Let me start this by saying, i think this game has some serious potential. I love disc golf and this game could be great if handled right. But overall, it's just not there yet. The throwing mechanics feel... off. I shouldn't have to take a full X-Step in a virtual disc golf game to throw ~200 feet. The flight mechanics just feel a little lacking. Ground play is basically "Disc hit ground. disc stop" Putting and shorter shots, funny enough, feel great. i think it works well. With a little love and care, I'd wager this game can be very fun. you just have to find the balance of fun/simulation/ and casual/In Depth. I hope someday i can change this review to good.

I was say this game is in an early stage where you're investing with hope for improvement. If you're young and want something playable and fun as you know disc golf, stick with Disc Golf Valley (DGV) for now. For me the physics needs a lot of work. If I throw a disc into a cliff it should at least hit and slide down or roll, not stick to the side of it. Also the first midrange they they start you with claims 4/6/-1/1.. if you throw it on an anhyzer it will flex out like an overstable disc. It currently lacks a lot of true flight qualities that DGV has obtained over a few years of work. I love that they want to achieve a solid multiplayer which is the one thing DGV (vr version) currently lacks and for that reason I'm hopeful that over time these features will improve. My recommendation would be for the developers start or have some sort of discord or facebook group and organize some sort of league night similar in the way that Hops&Hyzer has been done through DGV. Would be a good start to develop a community and make up for the other issues the game currently has making the investment more enticing for others to get on board.
Mechanics are way off. I know throwing mechanics are one of the hardest things to do right in VR but everything about this games mechanics are off relative to actual disc golf. Putting is ridiculous and landing a shot on top of or leaning against the bottom pole counts as in the basket.
Great vr disc golf game, physics are pretty realistic for the most part. Did notice the disc doesn't really slide or skip off the ground or ricochet off trees much. Takes some time to get used to throwing without a physical disc in hand but I feel that the throwing physics are solid, not perfect but that is too be expected when compared to IRL disc golf.
Hi, I have been playing this with a friend for many hours now. Since the early beta version, which had quite a few bugs, nowadays this is running stable and it brings quite fun to play this with friends. This has become one of my favourite multiplayer games for VR!
