Although this is an unpopular opinion, I genuinely think this is better than Octopath 2. Simply in terms of game design Octopath 1 is structured a lot better than the second game, from the way the first chapters are introduced for each character, the limit to 1 npc interaction ability per character, more streamlined character abilities, towns are smaller, side quests are better and everything is more manageable overall that it makes for a far more enjoyable experience. Even though some of the stories in the second game are arguably better and have more depth, I personally prefer the character design in the first game overall. They added more content and complexity to the second game sure but I think less is more, Octopath 1 is the better game.

This game was fantastic it is honestly one of the best turn based rpgs I have played but one down side is that in late game it does get a little grindy trying to level up the characters.

画面比较老，剧情内容很扎实。

A little simple in story and combat, but still a fun romp. The advertised 60+ hours of story gameplay is true too. I'd say I liked it better than DQXI but less than Golden Sun 2.

玩了2代回头玩1代，确实不错，但是成就系统有点折腾人，不人性化，很多东西没有图鉴记录，而且存在永远错过的元素，这点设计太不好了！

WHAT A WONDERFUL GAME! Every boss fight gave me the chills, made me feel scared whether I'm ready for each fight, and at the edge of my seat. Feeling really closer to all 8 characters in the game and how they all play a beautiful part in beating Galdera. I would 100% recommend this game to anyone if you want an open world, JRPG, turn-based, story-rich game that wants to fight all kinds of boss. Now, it is time for Octopath Traveler II.
