Very pretty and cinematic game, but not for me. Timed inputs in battles ruins one of biggest strengths of RPGs (for me): they're about strategy and tactics, not agility. Also, if each attack has an associated timed action, it means there's a hard limit to how much you can speed up non-boss fights, which (again, for me) makes the idea of replaying the game to see where the branching storylines lead more like a chore. I'm leaving the review as positive anyway because I want to support indy RPGs and I recognize that was a "me" problem.
Liebevolles gestaltetes Rollenspiel in Stiele der 1990`er Jahre. Hat mir gut gefallen. Mehrer Story Verläufe und Enden sind zu erleben. Danke Manu und sein Team.
A okey game. only on Chapter 2 so far. story is interesting. and tbh what realy keeps me playing is nostalgie for the RPG make DEMO that i played over 10 years ago. realy wannt to see what the game now is on its final stage. Positive - so far an easy but also not mindless JRPG no need for grinding its realy story drive and i can just drive the story - combat is easy and turnbased but the little reaction games make id little more active but not to much so it geting in the way. - love the many saves you can make Negative - maps are little to falt looking its hard to see where you can and can't walk sometimes. - NPCs can block you out from some paths for a moment its anoing. - Menu and UI realy basic but the real problem is its not nice to navigate sometimes. Example 1. in the menu i go back all the way when i go back 1 step after Equip 1 char. Example 2. you can't rely see witch enemy you attack until you press the arrow 2-3times. (not evry time looks like a bug or so) -sometimes it takes way to long for the next dialoug to pop up. it feals as there is missing soemthing. like i sit often there and think "can i move now or is there coming some more text? overall if you like storys, an a chill gameplay buy it.
Loving it so far! Reminds me of playing Aveyond when I was a kid. Only complaint is that the movement isn't the best sometimes due to the game grid, but I got used to it!
Tolles Rpg- Maker Spiel.
During game play around the 7 hour point, I started getting limited access to game menu keeping me from being able to save. The games characters would be smaller on the general map and stay that way when I went to a local area. That was kinda funny at first, but it continued to happen leaving me to have to go into a house or something to go back to normal size. This kind of bugginess made me worry that I would not be able to continue with normal game play or maybe lose saves. You got my ten bucks. Enjoy.
This game is excellent! I mostly play action rpg and don't care for the turn based games but this game adds a different element and has a really cool atmosphere and the graphics are stellar and the music fits the atmosphere. Getting a little lost in the story but it has been an amazing game so far
Such a good and refreshing premise executed well. I really felt connected to the characters (Shawn being the obv favorite with Arc being a close second). The art is really nice too! If there's somehow ever a reboot of some kind, I'd really hope to for other characters besides the main cast to have portraits too. Overall, it was a great game, and my only wish is that it had more of a following so there would be stuff posted online about it! I'm really gonna miss Shawn and the other characters, but it was a great experience!
The game is sooo good, i remember playing it pretty much non stop just to see what's going to happen next there's so much content
I really enjoyed this game, only nitpick I had with it was that sometimes the cut scenes would hold things for a bit too long before proceeding but other than that it was great. 10/10 recommend.
